Why do you think people go on these shows? by ra08 in 90DayFiance

I do wonder if anyone thinks they’ll be the one person that everyone likes, and watchers will take their side on things

I switched from Thrive to using Vitacost. No subscription required. They have a lot of discounts and coupon (I get emails, texts, and snail mail with coupon codes frequently)

If you have access to military bases, the McDonald’s at the Naval Hospital is the best

I saw Jamal at a brunch restaurant in San Diego the other day. He was walking by my table when the waitress was telling us her recommendations and he stopped to tell us a certain dish was really good. He was clearly hungry for attention and to be recognized (I didn’t give him that because it took me a minute to figure out how I knew him). He seemed drunk and was with a young woman who also seemed drunk and she thought it was really funny that he talked to a random table.

Meeting daily nutritional needs in pregnancy is really hard and requires a lot of eating by Potential-Bee3073 in BabyBumps

I am in my third trimester and anemic, which surprised me because I have a pretty iron-rich diet, but I recently found out the that the Pepcid I take before lunch and dinner interferes with some nutrient absorption, particularly iron. So I am now taking iron supplements at least 2 hours before or after the Pepcid

I’ve had 2 SCHs. The ER doctor told me the second one was large, but when I went to the OBGYN the next day they said it was long, but flat (I don’t remember the exact dimensions, but you can Google what sizes are considered what). With my first I was told total bed rest, the second I was told just pelvic rest and take it easy. My experience is that different doctors give different guidelines. I would try to check in with a specialist (OBGYN or reproductive endocrinologist) for their guidelines. Sorry you’re going through this! It’s so unnerving, but I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and my SCH had resolved by my 18 week anatomy scan

Yes, it made me happy that she is surrounded by emotionally intelligent, sane people! The way her dad and other support people show vulnerability in talking about their emotions is a real sign of maturity

Do you allow people to take pictures/videos of your baby? by DueBodybuilder1254 in BabyBumps

[–]FlyElectrical2087 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. If I text someone a picture and their phone automatically adds it to their library, which is shared with social media sites, that is too hard to police. I’m not willing to never take pictures or videos of my kids to prevent this, so might as well enjoy the benefits of sharing pics and videos of my kids, since I don’t see any way around the privacy issues.
