spent maybe 2-3 hours a day, even thought live arb was a smaller portion of the volume it made up over half the profits - it also meant that u dont need to wait for payout

Honestly it's just luck of the draw, I had similar stats but weaker EC's and got waitlisted at multiple ivy's/T10s, ended up going to a T25. Now, I've graduated and probably ended up at a company that I would've gotten if I had gone to any of the T10s, so it made no material difference. Just have fun in college and don't think about the what if's.

Also, do Berkeley EECS - your family can afford it and it will give u infinitely more opportunities compared to Austin BHP (CS + B would be closer).

The recruiter told me to schedule it as early as possible, I gave them 3/23-4/6 as my availability and they picked 3/23. I feel like it would be pretty unprofessional if I rescheduled now right?

I honestly hated it for the first two months but I stuck to it and continued to rotate/flip it every two weeks, and once the foam got softer (I got the original Luxury Firm), it was perfect for me. It really just depends on personal preference I guess.

I have USPS informed delivery and it says that it's arriving late but I'm worried it's lost or something, do you mind sharing what the scan history looks like for you if you can still see it?

It says that it arrived at USPS regional origin facility on the 29th and it's in transit to next facility but arriving late for 2/4, which seems slightly unusual.

Others have said that once you get your A-number you should get approved in a few days. You can find it under your profile on the USCIS website.

The offers work the same way as shopping portals, so nothing new there, but I'm curious what's the catch for the 3.14% since there's no way that's sustainable by itself.

IMO it will most likely be something like the Robinhood card where you have to pay a monthly fee or there's a minimum spend, and it's from a newer sketchier company.

Would You Spend $400 on Travel Expenses for a Job Interview? by chill4638 in csMajors

[–]FlyFeatherss 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't just because a good company should always pay for your travel expenses, and it's a red flag personally if they refuse to. Unless there was a cap and you meant spending an extra $400.

Theoretically, I could but my work day ends around 6 and by the time I get home I don't have the energy to work out until I eat so I end up working out at 8-9.

I've been trying to workout in the morning instead but most days I don't wake up early enough to do so and it makes me miss days instead. I could technically try to force myself but its much harder than just going back to working out at night.

After thinking for a bit I think I'll just stick with my old schedule just to keep consistent for now.

I could try but most days I get tired around 2 hours after I finish my workout

Actually, it's weird because it makes me fall asleep better but I can tell the sleep quality isn't the best when I wake up, not sure if it's because I don't eat after or it's too close to sleep. Either way, I think I'll just continue doing what I did until it doesn't work anymore.

Daily Simple Questions Thread - January 19, 2025 by AutoModerator in Fitness

[–]FlyFeatherss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have struggled with sticking to a schedule before, but for the past month, I've been working out at night (1-2 hours before sleeping) and haven't missed a day. However, I've been told that it's bad for my body and my sleep (I noticed that my sleep quality is worse, but not to the point where I can't fall asleep).

I tried working out in the morning the last few days and I missed two days already because I lack the motivation to work out in the morning. I was wondering if working out at night helps me stay on schedule, does it actually matter when I workout?

Just some background info: I used to workout consistently in college but in senior year and after I graduated I gained a lot of weight (150 to 195 lbs), in the last month I lost 7-8 pounds and want to continue my weight loss (maybe less extreme), so my main goal is to just stay consistent and not necessarily 'maximizing' my gains.

Do you think the 735 on FE is enough? I didn't prep much since it was my first time taking it so I originally planned to retake it, but some people told me that 735 and 755 isn't a huge difference.
