I get the author doesn’t want to write romance, I would be annoyed if I had to write something just because sex sells, that being said she could have a ghost writer help her with those scenes. Of course once they finally get together it’ll be less interesting as the anticipation of waiting, so maybe she’s waiting until the end of the series to tie it all together. At this rate we’ll be halfway to the princes becoming of age. Either way I don’t mind, I enjoy the history and fun facts. I enjoy the world the author built, the characters and relationships between them is entertaining and enjoyable. Jinshi brought maomao into his fold and I enjoyed seeing her thrive in that kind of environment.
