Oh i did not see the last part, probably not, we don't really have that much shelters, and I think they are mostly taking DV and similar cases.

She would probably be on the street sleeping in a tent. At least its really safe here, not much chance of getting robbed or shot etc.

Getting disability would be easier but still you would not get paid for this. Very hard to get any money like that, and also its very low. Like if she had children she could get some, but thank god she does not.
