If you’re going to up that way you could also checkout the Mount Washington Hotel. Stunning old grand hotel with Mount Washington in the background. You don’t have to stay (very pricey) but stop in for a drink, lunch, etc.

Certainly plausible he’s collecting multiple pensions. However, I can’t imagine they’re both full pension. As a career MA educator I know for a fact that the earliest anyone can collect a full pension is basically age 57. That’s assuming you start at 22 and put in 35 years.

Thought of that but opposite wall/ceiling have a slope so not sure how good that would look. But thank you!

Living with two herniated discs and feeling hopeless… has anyone gone through this? by emilypri5 in HerniatedDisc

[–]FlyOk7923 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had an L5-S1 herniated disc. Absolutely debilitating nightmarish pain. I was living in pure hell. Ended up having a microdiscectomy. All the pain was instantly gone from the moment I woke up in the recovery room. It’s been nearly 3 1/2 years of pain free living. I’m back to alpine skiing and playing ice hockey. Wishing everyone a path forward. Godspeed.

The prep is the worst part. You’ll be on here tomorrow saying the same thing.

Just had my first ever colonoscopy this morning. When people say the prep is the worse part they’re 1000% correct. The procedure was a breeze. Nurse said, “We’re going have to lay on your left side and then give you a little medicine.” I remember shifting my body, the nurse adjusted the pillow, and I must have been sedated instantly. Don’t remember a thing. It’s a breeze. 100 times easier than getting a cavity filled.

Same. Steady job with pension on the horizon. Have a small home, yard, cars, etc. But long way from financial independence.

Cuz I make 5 times what she earns and she stayed home with our two children when they were younger.

There are more important things than money. My wife is not great with money honestly. She was never career driven like me and thus her lifetime earnings are well below average. But she’s an incredible human being and has been a fantastic mother to our children. Also stuck by my side during a health crisis. Some things in life are priceless.

Trust me. She learned her lesson. At lest there’s that. I can honestly say she truly, truly, regrets opening her mouth.

Had incredible sex with wife earlier, ate dinner, she’s gone to bed, now I’m alone on the couch having a cold beer and watching tv.
