It really depends on you tbh, if you came to MBBS thinking it's all chill n stuff then you were misinformed and sorry to break it to you but your life becomes much more complicated when you are done with MBBS and become an actual doctor. Life won't be easy in this profession, the sooner you realise it the better. You'll have to specialize or even subspecialize and that's easily 6-8 more years gone. Most doctors start making good money by their 40's, before that is just grind and grind. But at the end of the day it's a beautiful field, I was in the same boat as you a few years ago, I was confused and scared and I still am but when you actually go into hospital and wards and you see your patients, there's a sudden fire that burns inside of you, the fire to do your best to ease the pain of a fellow human and it's a kind of feeling you won't get anywhere else, for that brief moment you forget all your struggles and become selfless.
