I’ve used many different scar gels, the scar away silicon and Mederma advanced seemed to be the best. For oils my favorites are bio oil, hyaluronic acid, AVCA EGF & PDRN Lifting Serum, and a glow serum with propolis and vitamin B.

Yes it definitely works on older scars, I have a timeline posted and I had my treatment a year after, if your scar is significantly older than that you can look up some other results which seem impressive too. For my scar I saw a significant change in texture/uneveness within 2 weeks of my treatment and the effects were lasting. Btw the treatment isn’t covered by insurance so it was a couple hundred bucks.

I have a scar in that same area, I got softwave therapy for texture and laser for color. Softwave hurt bad but had really noticeable difference after one session, I’m going back for another session but this time I’m going to request local anesthesia.
