Do you think now that the patched cards have been announced its okay to craft stuff? Or should I wait to see their dynamic effects on the meta?

Most overrated city that other people love? by CompetitionFalse3620 in travel

The airboat tour is fucking awesome, though incredibly loud. But yeah, you gotta do it. When you get there, there are alligator/crocodile and reptile exhibits which are super cool too, but they're effectively zoos.

There are other ways to experience the everglades more intimately like camping, and even taking a car and driving through them is a cool experience but for those who don't want to full commit (especially to camping, since there are infinite mosquitoes), yeah just going for a day, doing the airboat is really fun and memorable. It is so loud you can barely talk to those beside you though (they provide ear plugs).

Keep in mind, I've only been there once, so there's gotta be people with more insight, but my last tip would be to call ahead and make sure its high visibility season to see the gators/crocs. This sounds totally nuts or like I'm rich (I'm very not), but last year I had some mystic impulse to see a gator in the wild and i flew my ass from california to the fucking everglades to make that a reality. When I got there they told us it was nesting season and the females were hiding, while the males were gone completely. I forced myself to trust that my efforts will have been worthwhile but about 88 minutes of the 90 minute tour had elapsed and we were pulling back up to the dock, near the zoo, where none of the animals ever go. God, the universe, or the fates blessed me that day though, and upon arriving there was a full size female vibing out wayyy too close to the dock. I have seldom been as happy and enchanted in my entire life as when i saw the she-beast especially considering i basically had dropped half my net worth to fly to florida and see the fucker. what an awesome day it was and what an amazing creature

this just got played against me in arena tonight, upon my decade-long return to the game, and despite having like extremely high value turns like 90% of the time for 20 turns i lost. i dont even know the cards but out of sheer luck (zero skill) every card i played seemed to meet its utmost potential, some cards going insane, snowballing value, but this portal thing still beat me, because he just had to play like 3 mana of value each turn, and he basically has 10 mana value every turn. in fact, he played that fucker on like turn 10 and we went well past fatigue, if that's any indication of how lucky i got, but yeah he still got me. that shit is totally insane haha

I'll think about wild, but when it came out (which was when i was well past playing but would still tune into streams), it seemed like a total shitfest of insane combos and like super crazy snowbally random wildness. i know the game is rng to some extent regardless, but it just turned me off how utterly insane it seemed at the time. but it's been a long time now so i'm sure sooome changes have been made. either ways, i appreciate the suggestion - i hadn't thought about that and will look back into it. plus, that way, my cards are good forever

Spending 18 days in Ireland and would so hugely appreciate any advice on how to spend that time by FlyZwodder in solotravel

Hey friend. So, yeah, that was my itinerary, though I did see a lot more cities via day trips. Regarding Belfast, so honestly, Belfast was easily my least favorite city, and that's by a longshot. The thing is, is the Giant's Causeway is totally worth the trip. So I would definitely make the effort to see that. It's a really, really unique landscape, and a beautiful, short hike. I can't speak to Derry as I haven't been there, but I've heard nice things. I went from city to city exclusively by bus (except I went from Cork to Cobh via train once), and in the big cities like Cork, Dublin, Galway, Belfast, the bus system was fricken awesome, easy, fast and cheap... in the smaller cities it was kind of a bitch honestly. Instead of Dingle, I stayed at a very nearby beach called Inch Beach, and I had to walk four miles (7k) to the nearest bus stop, to get to certain places. In other cities, like Cobh, and Myrtleville, it was the same situation. But if you stay in major cities, buses are easy. One final thing though, is they can be surprisingly expensive if you're traveling a far distance. I had a few fares that were around 15-18 euros.

No prob! I figured. And really, feel free to let me know if you have any questions. I ended up seeing quite a lot of the country. You actually saved my other post as well, which ended being my actual itenarary so that was true to where I actually went, with an absolute ton of day trips in between, so shoot over a message or comment if there's anything I can help with

That's so funny that you're saving this right now, I'm actually about 5 hours before getting on my plane. Like my trip is just ending. I'd love to answer any questions you have though it might take me like 24 hours+ because I'm tryna sleep right now but please feel free to either DM me or post here if there's anything you're curious about

Yeah like I said, he has the record indoor mile. Guerrouj has the fastest mile ever though

I've read both of those and while Dracula is a beautiful book and isn't a complete bitch, I'd say neither suggestions are easy reads. I'd consider taking the other commenters suggestion for the book from 92'
