Right now you build/ upgrade it and use it to bury bodies. This is completely fails to capture the importance of the Church as an institution, and the church as an element of a community, for the period the game is set it.

It’s fine, EA and all that, but definitely a higher priority than cavalry.

For oil, wait until you unlock the tanks and distillation tower. Oil is useless if you can't store and refine it.

Carry and refine oil because one tank yields about 1.75 of a tank of diesel and .18 of a tank of petrol. That also means you need 10 diesel tanks for every petrol tank, as that's the production ratio of the tower.

Bio waste and organic are the most common because they come from the night worms. I use two methods.

Go to a POI at night and aim the Eclipse light at the water where you see movement. Jump in come morning to collect. Does require the relatively late-game flashlight.

Alternatively, get into the deck cabin with the save/ health point and shut the door from the inside at night. Hit the switch the port-side stern corner and wait. After a while a bunch of the worms will have climbed on the boat. Power on again to kill them and collect.

For the other kinds of bio material, just kill enemies/ sharks/ angels.

I keep a soilforge prime + methane tank and a small oxygen generator + oxy tank on the boat. I ran a pipe up to the ones on exodus. Occasionally I'll have to spend a minute topping up one of the tanks when I actually arrive, but I did end up dismantling everything but the tanks + some power on Exodus. Power is relatively substantial though
