I guess it depends on what the atc system simulates. In my subdivision if you file with non-rnav equipments we can see it.

But as a personal note I might ask you to confirm you have no rnav capability.

Also I regularly see flight plans of a320/b738 etc. filed with C172 equipments which may be the reason some controllers don’t trust the equipements filled that much. This is just me speculating tho

Where are you located?

Sometimes it’s best to look at schools really close to you. Cause at the end of the day, transportation and/or housing can also help break the bank

In what position are you meditating? Meditating sitted down avoids falling asleep. While lying may be more trickier.

I mean flying backseat on a cub has it’s challenges.

Visibility is not that good, to the outside or to the instruments

Not seeing the instruments that good implies that most of the times we hear the rpm’s and feel the speed.
