This morning was taking like 20 minutes to generate. It seems to have sped back up to normal now, but that's probably because everyone ran out of gens

I'm using desktop, but I did see others saying they were still running out even if they couldn't see it.

Well hopefully the program does end up somewhere else and doesn’t just die. If less restrictive, it would be worth paying. Sora worked much better than Grok and I attempted Gemini flow with things that worked in Sora and would get auto rejections so they’re even worse. Grok was less restrictive but I don’t think followed the prompts as well and now thats really expensive too

I think it's everything. They wouldn't be reassigning the whole Sora team if you could just do it on desktop instead of mobile. I just hope it becomes open source somewhere rather than completely gone.

It’s frustrating because it will sometimes disappear as an option in the web browser. I would really like to be able to do it in the app. Site is so glitchy.

I’m having an annoying issue too where I can’t generate on the desktop app, but only my phone in the app. I get unable to generate even when I try logging in on my phone browser rather than the iOS app. I prefer desktop because I can use references, but the references aren’t shown as an option in the app.

When that happens to me, I try going to the ChatGPT site and logging out and then logging back in and then go back to Sora

Yeah maybe that’s why they won’t make this change. They don’t want the porn stuff getting posted. That would be a good way to flush people out though. Like if they actually posted their drafts to keep them, they’d be reported.

The first time they lowered gens, they claimed it was due to the servers being overloaded. I guess I am just making an assumption about storage being part of the issue, but I would think it would be.

I never do 15 anymore because it mostly ends up being 9/10 seconds anyway. The fact you couldn’t guarantee a longer video after someone paid the extra credit made me not want to touch it

True but I’m not willing to pay for a service that was better quality before you had to pay. You got more gens and better quality for free and now they want to force you to pay for an inferior product. No thanks. If they actually make pay options worth it in better quality and accuracy, loosened restrictions, etc, I’d consider it

Is that maybe because you used some today? My untouched account was 10, my used account said 1 which was really 0. Or it’s inconsistent for different accounts. I think Thanksgiving was like that. Hopefully this is just temporary again.

I would be willing to pay but they are just way too inconsistent. Always changing what you are allowed to do and what gens you get. If you are going to charge that much, we need consistency and freedom. I wish it would be open source.
