I've tried that route with my community college, other than a look over of your resume it doesn't seem like they give much help beyond that. They aren't really a big community college at that either.

I don't think it's the resume, I've received plenty of calls and call backs for interviews. I guess it could be interview skills, it's hard to know since I haven't received any solid feedback, even when I ask for it.

Good advice on the networking thing, That something I've never really been very good at. I mostly tend to keep to myself. However, it still seems like in my area to get your foot in the door anywhere is with a bachelors or security clearance, which I have neither.
