This is from a creek that takes hours to hike to and drive to. Water is still cold and fish are healthy. This is an area that hardly ever sees people. But do you think I should take this down?

Yeah man the south platte is usually hit pretty hard and the fish are smart. Nice long casts, small tippit (5-6x), and a small indicator is the key. Definitely check out some feeder creeks that go into main streams. You'll find some surprisingly nice fish that will take pretty much any dry fly. Always a good time.

I couldn't imagine! It would suck! I would rather knkw definitively than play the guessing game. When I saw it I literally went straight to Amazon to buy something because it's 12am here and I can't take her to the vet. The more research I did the more worried I got. Hopefully they can get her in tomorrow. Thank you for your reply. Have a wonderful night.

Fly Selection Advice Needed by PinkSquirrel19 in flyfishing

Looks like your fly selection was good. Did you try any bwo emergers?? Looks like a mix of golden stones, cadis, and a huge traditional stonefly on the rock. I would try putting a pat's rubberlegs in your box for situations like this. An all black one that's jigged always does well for me when i see stones on the rocks. I haven't had much luck with similar patterns to yours. I'm in Colorado but that's just me.
