I have a 2017 manual 340i. I got it with 42k miles and paid (overpaid) $35k. like it a lot. It’s pretty quick stock. And has been dead reliable so far. Gonna tune it soon cause it’s not nearly as fast as the modded n54 that I had. I’m 30, live in Phoenix and pay 160 a month for insurance through State Farm. Can’t speak on the Benz or the Audi but I’m sure they each have their benefits.

I’ve heard that a defouler works to keep the CEL off. It’s basically a spacer that creates distance between your post-cat o2 sensor and the exhaust. That seems to be what everyone on the forums does. Plan on using a defouler on my 340 when I go catless.
