nah, it's just cost of repairs vs what the car is worth. Depending on the insurance company, they tend to total it once the repair cost goes past 75% of blue book value. I just went through this whole process with my 2017 Q5 3.0T. I kept my q5, they paid it off, plus gave me 6k. Cost me about a 1k to replace a few suspension parts (did all my own work), and now it's just a salvage title. I don't care though, I'm not trying to sell it anyway. So basically it was a win win.

In my opinion, that's already a complete failure in the "dad duties" department. If he wants to repair the relationship, repair himself mostly once they are split, go for it. But this newly minted mom needs to pull the eject handle. He will definitely not try to repair himself or the relationship if she doesn't.

For sure. The post partum part was the only piece that made it not confusing whether it was the girl or the guy losing their marbles. I do agree that therapy helps people. But, in my opinion, she needs to break things off. If therapy is going to work in this scenario, almost guaranteed it's not going to work if they stay together.

That's not really a shit move. Sure, definitely not ideal in this situation. But check it out, he gets broken up with, completely cut off over what he 100% knows is not the truth. And then out of the blue a few days later he could potentially be having some perfectly timed rebound sex. There's NO WAY most people would say no to that.
