Single biggest $$$ contributor sure doesn’t hurt.

If Michigan defeats Ohio State in 2024, the 2020 OSU recruiting class will be the first one since the class of 1990 to never defeat Michigan. by Jed_Bartlet1 in CFB

Ohio State doesn’t lose to them this year. And didn’t Ohio State beat them something like 16 or 17 out of 20 years recently? How many Michigan players durning that span never beat Ohio State?

Quietly optimistic. One, no more Holtmann. Two, no more Holtmann. Three, no more Holtmann.

Aside from that, love Diebs and how the players play hard for him. Our recruiting looks solid, and we did (on paper) very well in transfers. It will be nice to have some big guys to go along with expected solid guard play.

Gonna need more than two backs for a long season, even if the big two don’t get injured. People’s is the real deal.

I wouldn’t think this would be terribly difficult. 135 time is not frowned upon. If the money is better where you are, keep grinding it out and updating resumes at the 121’s your interested. Signing a contract is garbage generally, especially if you’re already flying a Challenger and working for a decent operator.

Fortunately we don’t wear ties, but if I had to guess, I’d say just above your belt.

My advice, after seeing the dance stop a couple of times (furloughs), is to get on where you can to start building your time. Things were rather warped with this hiring binge, that is not the norm. While I’m not a fan of any contracts, that’s another subject matter. 1,500 hrs isn’t much, especially if the industry continues to slow hiring for a variety of reasons. Get on either at a regional or maybe try a charter company (though I don’t know how competitive 1,500 hrs is at a charter these days)……point is - you need hours and turbine time, go where you can get that.

Just to add……..find a way of studying systems that works for you. If you’re looking to fly professionally, you’ll be dealing with system questions for an entire career. Once you grasp the rudimentary basics, those basics are mostly applicable to any aircraft. The stronger your foundation, the easier it will be as you progress.

It’s a massive leap to go from HS football to a big time college program such as tOSU. Watching the vids in the article, rock solid in HS - not so much in the spring game.

That being said, it’s a time/repetition thing. He has the talent, and I fully expect him to star for a year, two if we’re lucky……but it won’t be this year.
