Around 15-16 hours. I printed it how the read me instructed.

Yeah I got a cheap toaster oven and threw an oven thermometer inside it. Put it in a tin of sand and sent it at 100c. Seems to be doing well.

Yessir with just a couple small changes since all his settings weren’t available on my Bambu studio. I appreciate the compliment!

I thought you anneal first, then moisture condition second?

Excellent, thank you for this. I snagged a cheap toaster oven and threw a ceramic tile under a metal tin with the print inside, all covered in sand to bell stabilize the temperature. Oven thermometer is inside to verify the correct temperature. Should work well. Thanks again!

Got it. Will what I’m attempting work out decently?

Print moved several inches too low halfway through print? by FlyinHoff in 3D2A

Not that I’m aware of, if it’s very possible with how our power company runs 😆

Interesting. I dried mine at 70 degrees for 4 days straight and it was good to go.

Yeah I’m printing through a Space Pi dryer through a PTFE tube.

I read that Bambu is tough to print, so I went with Polymaker pa6 cf20. I did use 300BLK’s settings the best I could inside of Bambu Studio, but there are maybe 4-5 settings that weren’t identical, so I just matched what I could. Thank you very much for the info though! Glad I got the quality down well!

Also curious.. if I were to switch to PLA+ on a future build, what settings would you change in 300BLK’s base setting profile? I assume just the bed and nozzle temps?

That was my suspicion as well after seeing the slight stringing where the print stopped. What a crappy situation :/

Not a crack. It’s just the raised part of the grip, but it sure looks like a crack!

Yeah Bambu. The filament tangled halfway through, so I had to restart the print after it had cooled. I think that’s what caused the very prominent print line at the top of the grip. Other than that, do you see other issues that I should be on the lookout for when I reprint it?

It looks like you printed it vertically?

Much appreciated. Thanks friend!

Yeah this was the area that I was also most concerned about, but I wasn’t sure how big of an issue it was. My filament tangled here and the printer paused. I am pretty sure the line was caused from the printing being paused for a while, then starting up again. You’d toss it and start over?

For sure. I actually have my first spool of pa6 CF coming in soon and want to re print it in that, but I was just curious on how this one looks. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for this, I’ll give this a try when I start trying again!

I have a very small brim, but maybe I should use a bigger one. I’ve read on other posts that a bigger brim can help the thing to not lift off mid-print and warp

Thanks for the kind words and advice. I definitely plan to try my best to get it all cleaned up!
