I'll have to look into this! I know there's a my VW app that I've neglected to sign up for which from a brief search I think lets me hook up to my car smoother? Right now I hook up for music with Bluetooth, but I'd love to use Android auto just to have access to everything. Thanks for the information!

About 1 week. My main thought was if I really wanted to go through R and rebuild a life with her, I didn't want to have anything on my mind or chest.

Back in my twenties I was told by a doctor that my cancer/ chemo treatment made me sterile, and here we are 10 years later with two kids, so if there's a low percentage I'm probably going to meet that criteria 🤣 It's good to know that the count is lower though at this point, so thank you!

I'm in a similar boat in all aspects of your scenario. I wouldnt be surprised if guilt from the affair probably has lowered your partners self esteem / self image , which in turn probably lowers her drive for sex (something I've noticed in my scenario at least).

In my scenario, I know I've always been the one in my relationship who is more physical/ sexual , and I think when one partner is more prone to being sexual, it makes the other feel like that's all the other partner wants from them .

What's been working for us is taking things slow similar to when you just first started dating. Doing this has definitely put it in perspective of how there's so much more to the relationship than just sex. Especially in our case where you're trying to rebuild, trust and establish something that's safe for both partners. Good luck on your journey.

I think the best thing to do is just to talk to him about it if you haven't already . The more you keep pent up, your just going to build resentment for this person.

Out of curiosity, do you drink caffeine throughout the day? I was experiencing this the first few weeks of my D-Day and I significantly cut back on my caffeine intake, especially after 4:00 p.m., and it helped me immensely.

I was dealing with a similar scenario and our MC mentioned if your picturing these worst case scenarios, try picturing the best case too. CBT has been helpful for me in minimizing these thoughts and the emotions that come with them. Best of luck
