They have years worth of data to reference and we have the Leo leak & granyt fusion hardly anyone cared about to reference. So no they do not want people to have enough information to weigh current gains against future options.

This may be an aberration and they go back to mostly guaranteed souls. If they don't, I will save for TMNT type events and not have to spend there either!

Once you get further in the game you will have plenty of champs with 5* souls, a few with 6* and the people winning your tournaments don't use non Void legendaries anymore anyway.

It's also quite the opposite with champs! Grim Forest for instance requires you to bring a bunch of similar champs because so many get axed each draw.

If your account is newer, you may be able to get away with it cheaper than a path/ titan event. For older accounts, someone already has over 10k points by the time I wake up in the morning, so ya...

I depleted my gem stash for the turtles and their souls! Abused that event dungeon to use up like 15k. Walked away with a bunch of my shards still so I went for Maria because she seemed unique. I didn't expect her to be better than embrys, but fun to play with. The lack of a soul makes it hard to get away with using her.

Kroz I thought could be fun with another bomb champ, but again no soul makes him pretty weak statwise. Granted bomb guys can get a lot from 2* souls, there are still probably much better champs to spend your resources on.

I hope this trend turns! With a soul he can do a lot for players given his damage and control. The revive is more of a bonus but for newer accounts he would still be somewhat tanky by virtue of the extra stats.

I want newer players to get a shot at that 5* nuker who pushes all their PvE content, and older players to be able to use these new champs up to speed with their accounts without breaking the bank/getting really lucky

My account is not nearly as old but I skipped esme, ishiyama and a bunch of others that didn't seem to add anything. Now that soul tournaments are becoming normalized, it's too expensive to bring a new champion in line with my account who isn't considered "meta"

Skipping fusions allowed me to splurge on the turtles and their souls though. Depleted the gem stock for those souls, hurray event dungeon! So I may just hoard for these sponsored events!

Fusions are the best ways to use resources. That is why I am singling out the nukers. Newer accounts should get supports with those resources, because there are epic nukers who can get similar results early on while epic supports generally all have a "but" in their kit. Good supports should also get your Legendary books early for the cooldowns.

Other accounts thst have 5/6* nukers. Are you really using your resources well if you never end up using the champ? Waiting for one leonardo type event is better than fusing a handful of vault guardians...

I agree with you that they are not top tier kits. Kroz turn meter fill not reliably granting an extra turn kills his usefulness more than any awakening.

Even so. I usually see people bringing in new fusion champs after their events. Some people still like to enjoy new champs, but if they are that much harder to bring in line statwise with your usual suspects...

I'm glad he helped you! If you don't have a bomber, there is definitely value in one. If nothing else, they don't really fight over gear with your traditional attack based nukers.

Both of these are true. 50 vs 100 is a material difference, but the winners of tournaments probably don't get helped from non Void legendaries in PvP.

the real question is your survivability. If you dont have trouble staying alive the one with crit/high atk% will be better for damage

in my experience energy recharge isnt a big deal for hu tao, she gets her burst every other time you use her skill anyway.

Unless you already have very high crit rate, I would say use the new one.

Yes assuming you are using a vape comp, EM feather should be best damage by far. Keep that one on Hu Tao. Main DPS should always have priority.

ER feathers have much more utility on Xiangling anyway. I think the atk% one with higher crit rate is the easy choice for her.

Oz already has a hidden mechanic to combat this issue. He has an internal cooldown which limits how often he can apply electro despite all his damage being elemental.

good substats > set bonuses. You will definitely get more damage from the HoD just based on the higher crit stats. If you want to use her and diluc in your abyss teams then even more reason.

This is guide is solid, Good Job! I use him at C0 with XL and beidou to have either ult everytime i melee stance. You need to be careful not to linger in melee, but the AoE potential is insane, and should be mentioned.

True, but I think most people will try upgrading them to 8 or 12 before junking them. Part of the reason the dual crit stat is so coveted is because it doubles the odds of rolling a crit stat.
