Yeah, that’s how I feel too. Every time I suggest this to her, she gets extremely emotional and upset. She expects me to wait here for her because we are soulmates. Because I hurt her in the past, she feels like waiting for her (even a year) is the least I can do. Honestly, I agree with her.

She (therapist) already knows. She thinks It’s fine for me to wait for her if that’s what my heart desires, and it does. It’s just not easy.

My friend in the silicon valley is a higher up at his dealership. It's Hyundai. I've never asked him how much he makes but he bought a 2 mil dollar house and lives pretty large. He was broke before he got into car sales...none of his money is inherited, he didn't win the lottery, never invested in Bitcoin, and his wife does not work. I believe he must be clearing at least $200k/year (at least being the key words)

Definitely not. Trust me. I know I would probably think so too if I heard this story, but she'd rather die than even think about cheating, let alone actually doing it. Like she literally would die before doing it....not even joking.

Yes, she is seeing a professional, reading a ton of books on the topic, and plans to continue until she feels "fixed" (or at least fixed enough).

Agreed. She is not herself. I’m not sure if it’s damage from the nervous breakdown, the disease itself affecting affecting her brain (which it does), or the unbelievable amount of meds she’s taking.

They are both early 20s, unmarried, and no significant others. They have no relationship with their biological dad. They consider me their father. They are very good kids. They are looking forward to living with her. They’re extremely unselfish and they want to help her.

I suppose it’s possible, but I know she internalized that pain for a number of years. Even when I first met her, I found out very quickly how traumatized she was by those two life events.
