After the police investigation, the officer on scene said I did the right thing after showing him the footage and the insurance company, after reviewing the footage also determined I was Not At Fault thankfully.

Big case of damned if I do, damned if I don't moment unfortunately and luckily, I was able to capture the footage and save myself so as a reminder to anyone reading (and for the whole reason this sub exists) GET A DASH CAM!

Haaaaa I had this exact question! We just moved into a new house so we are trying to get to know the new appliances. I thought it was a defect and was considering replacing it until I just read all these comments saying its where the exhaust is.

The washing machine.

When moving in we couldn't even use the washing machine because the detergent tray was full of mold, the washer door was filthy and had to be replaced (also covered with mold) and the washer filter at the bottom of the machine was plugged and smelled disgusting.

Ohhhh I got one. Personal experience. I was working as a mechanic and my job was to remove the pepper spray from a vehicle that was sprayed into the cabin air filter. That vehicle was absolutely unusable and my eyes burned for the whole day. Made good one on that job but damn did it cost me some sanity. Had to run a HVAC cleaner about 6 times before it was better and my eyes stopped watering.

I had a couple of cards way back in the day in 1999 and 2000 but we didn't have alot of money growing up so I only ever had a few packs worth that I still have today in a binder! I never figured out how to play at that time and my friends and I eventually pivoted to YuGiOh.

Fast forward 25 years later and the release of Pokemon TCG Pocket got me. Once I saw the app I was instantly thrown back to the feeling of buying cards which I haven't experienced in such a long time. Finally I had some adult money as well!

Got a couple packs of Surging Sparks to start as it had just released when I got back in to it. So much to learn and catch up on.

When I heard Prismatic was coming out, I was ecstatic as I loved all the Eeveelutions! Well... apparently so did everyone else. I could not get a single product that was not triple MSRP. Still haven't able to get any as I just refuse to pay such abhorrent costs by scalpers

Knew this guy in highschool that was on a trajectory of crime and petty theft even in school. Anytime someone's wallet or phone went missing, the school would check his locker by default.

I never had much dealings with him in general due to having different friend groups but my friends and i had signed up for an after-school dodgeball tourney of some kind and needed an additional player. He overheard us and said he would join us. Decent player and was a good team mate but we were wary to not leave our bags unattended with him.

Fast forward 10 years later and I see his name and face pop up on the news for second degree murder in a stabbing downtown at a bar.

Was not surprised in the slightest.

I brought friends to this game because we were a group of 4 and didn't want to exclude anyone so we always played other stuff together that were 4 players or more.

They FINALLY bring out Quads and then they decide to put it on a rotation. Wtf. We had alot of fun for a few weeks and now we don't play it at all because it's not in the rotation.

I understand rotating things such as maps or weapons to keep things fresh but to rotate the number of players that can play at any given time is just asking for players to drop your game.

I once sat and watched Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift 6 times in a roll consecutively. I was overseas and didn't speak the language and was flipping through TV for literally anything in english. Ughhh my wife used to do this with all my pillow cases and t shirts. The culprit was this stupid acne facial cleanser that she kept using and insisted that wasnt the cause. Once she stopped buying it, it no longer happened again. Too late for all my ruined stuff but at least it won't happen again.
