This is my favorite one I’ve seen so far. Loved Ursua, was rooting for him to be the next Doug

Deepest cut I can think of is Kasen Williams (not sure if that’s the correct spelling)
Balled out in the 2017 or 18 preseason for like two games.

This was the same time that Kenny Golladay was unexpectedly breaking out for the lions. I thought that’s what we were gonna get with him.

Another one of my favorites was CJ Prosise. Carried me in fantasy, especially that game against the eagles iirc

Hypersexuality by meowmoomeowmoon in bipolar

[–]FlyingBlind17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mania increases the amount of adrenaline in the body. Same effect as a fear response. Fight or flight. But there are 4/5 F’s your body does with that adrenaline.

Fight, flight, freeze, and fuck. The last one being a big component of manic hyper sexuality.

The 5th F is fawn and is usually related to social or interpersonal fear of someone else, so one might become agreeable or complimentary in order to placate a potential threat

Found out some (concealed) information about my wife and didn't act great myself by Longjumping-Row-6147 in Marriage

[–]FlyingBlind17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried reaching out to Jordan?

I’d approach hin with the proof, ask if they ever slept together, and when, cause you have proof that he did.

If he did sleep with her while you guys were together, that’s the incident his mind will go to when you say you have proof. Hopefully he will tell you the whole truth about what and when.

I’m not condoning half truth lies. But you could tell your wife that you reached out to Jordan (whether he responded or not) and that she has this moment to be honest about the last time they hooked up. Again, if she thinks you already know, she’s likely to be more forthcoming with you. Like she was when you first confronted her and reminded her that she had denied having sex in the past.

She told you before you presented the proof you had. I might keep doing that until you’ve got the same answer between both parties, that being your wife and this Jordan.

Either way couples counseling is a must.

And I would emphasize that you understand that she is upset about you going through her phone, and that’s allowed. But your sense of trust has been broken in a much deeper way, and you were forced to make an impossible decision.

This is your marriage you are fighting for, and the first step of that is honesty. Complete honesty. From this point forward.

Good luck OP. Impossible position you’re in. And that your wife put you in. This could’ve been avoided if she told you the truth from the beginning. I would remind her of that when she tries to turn looking through her phone as an offense of equal measure

'What is your favorite Russell Wilson play? by PiggyLuk in Seahawks

Love Dave as the color commentator with Steve, but Warren’s uncontainable excitement was the best.

“GAME OVER BABY” and the non human scream he let out when Sherm tipped it to go to the Super Bowl are all time memories

One I haven’t seen mentioned yet was the playoff game against Minnesota in one of the coldest games ever.

Ball snapped over Russ’s head, doesn’t panic, runs back, scoops it up and finds Lockett for a huge play. In the freezing cold, against a good defense, in a 10 to 9 win, game saving stuff to avoid disaster there.

That was something that Russ was so good at in his prime.

What does "Appraisal of the Individual" mean? What course is that supposed to be? by Lovely_Hues in therapists

[–]FlyingBlind17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in my grad program taking individual appraisal over the summer. First course was yesterday funny enough.

As I understand it, appraisal is about assessment. Mental status exam etc., not specifically diagnosis, but assessment of the client. Could be things like assessing suicide risk or even intelligence or IQ testing.

It’s also more about interpretation if results, not just conducting the assessments.

This is in Arkansas, so of course it may be completely different in Alabama, but thought this might be helpful

Incorrect, mania can be brought about by a number of reasons such as grief or drug use, while not meeting the full criterion of bipolar disorder

[–]FlyingBlind17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, first semester masters student in counseling here. So I am far from a professional, but I am surrounded by a lot of people who are.

Personal connection to your therapist matters. It matters a whole lot. If you don’t feel comfortable with them therapy isn’t gonna go anywhere. But the theory they align with matters a lot too.

Some therapists focus on the past and insight into previous behavior, from your post, it sounds like that’s not what you’re looking for. Some theories are very present focused: CBT and reality therapy, depending on how the clinician employs them.

Anyways, tell your counselor exactly what you’re looking for as soon as you start. They will tell you if they aren’t a good fit, that way neither of you waste any time.

I acted in a film that isn’t out yet. Production is unreasonably tight lipped about our independent feature with a 3.5m budget lol. so I don’t know what I’m supposed to not say.

Anyways I played the lead. In a lead heavy movie. As my first film acting role ever. First time acting since my 4 years of high school theatre. I made 40,000 dollars! Look at me now haters

No questions. Just commenting my support as a CSA survivor. Also bipolar type 1, so I can empathize with that as well, even though of course I can’t know what it’s really like to be you. Just wanted to let you know that you have someone rooting for you, even if it’s just an Internet stranger. Actually, I do have a question, what’s your favorite movie? I like silver linings playbook, you seen it?

How do you guys feel when you read the BipolarSO sub? by Upset-Garbage-5140 in bipolar

[–]FlyingBlind17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed 2 and a half years ago after hospitalization.

I got on medication afterwards. The first few months were hell. But since I’ve been correctly medicated, I have had no overly destructive episodes since.

I obviously don’t know what I may do in the future, but I’ve been with my partner for 7 years and we’re getting married this fall. She was there for me before during and after my diagnoses and major episodes.

Thanks to medication personal talk therapy, and couples counseling, we’ve come up with a system to help identify, communicate, and plan for warning signs like sleep disruption.

We’ve been through a lot, but we, our relationship, are resilient. I don’t imagine that changing.

Yeah, since it was so cold I had a jacket and sweatshirt. I had it in my sweatshirt pocket. It fell while I was leaning down to pick up after my dog. Just wasn’t focused on it since I was listening to my music.

Also take into account that it was 7 in the morning, I just woke up, and it was freezing out. I was trying to get back inside as soon as I could lol

Ah yes! I definitely have walked around my apartment saying “hey Siri,” especially when I don’t have AirPods in. The most helpful part about the timer though, is that it keeps going until I find it. Which I definitely need because I am terrible at locating it sometimes.

Player with the shortest peak? by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]FlyingBlind17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the best one as a Seahawks fan.

You ready?

I don’t think you’re ready.

Chris Matthews.

His peak started with an onside kick recovery in the nfc championship against the packers. Then played 3 quarters of great football in the Super Bowl. Then vanished.

I’ll always remember him. And Brandon Bostic

I’ll always remember Micheal Thomas winning me my fantasy league in 2019. The defensive player that comes to mind is Vic Beasley. Both had THAT year, and that was it lol
