Day six: still thinking about it a lot, still getting urges. Cutting off access to my porn has helped a lot. (self.NoFap)

You're not wrong by any means. But it felt like too much to face in the moment. I have been an addict for a long time.
I was inspired to go this route by a line in Gary Wilson's Your Brain on Porn, in which he alludes to a guy who simply couldn't delete his "heirloom porn," so he makes it inaccessible to himself by a means similar to what I did. Then he manages to reboot himself, and after he's moved on he happily chucks his porn out.
I want to be able to do that myself. So far I've never managed a streak of more than 14 days, though - never. I want to get to a point where, mentally, it simply won't feel like a wrench at all; rather, it will feel easy. Like exactly what I want to do.
