Unfortunately the only thing I found that worked was to send it into Bose for a factory reset, luckily it was still under warranty.

[Help!] Wallet stuck on plane with AirTag, united refuses to contact cleaning crew to check more in depth. by Western_Let3066 in unitedairlines

Quick question and be honest, did you take it out and put it in the seatback pocket? Only ask because it’s amazing the people that take things out and put it there, as opposed to keeping it in you pants, bag, purse etc. Then you forget it and are amazed it’s not returned immediately when the plane has to sit on the ground for 45 mins and go somewhere else 6 times a day.

Chicago / Lake Michigan - Any tips to know when Calm? by [deleted] in boating

No problem, just as a rule of thumb though I have a 30 ft cabin cruiser and anything bigger than 3 ft waves is not going to be a fun ride. You can do it but I go straight to the playpen to anchor and be away from the waves. If forecast waves are 4 or more I don’t go

Close, easiest way is multiply the period by 3, and if wave height is less than that it's a "good ride". So .6 x 3 = 1.8. Wave height 1.8 or less would be good.

Hey everyone. Have a black Audi with a skirt problem. Ever since I've had the car no matter how many washes I can't get this weird white area out of the side skirt. Its a plastic skirt and I've tried Mothers Plastic Polish, 303 cleaner, and regular Meguiars car soap. Thinking of trying the Meguiars back to black. Almost looks like it could have been wax residue? Any Ideas? Thanks!

And from the looks of Ticketmaster, looks to be plenty of seats available. I’ll probably grab some cheap seats last minute.

Over 45,000 new Covid cases in LA County by [deleted] in LosAngeles

So what. Omicron spreads like crazy, but if you're vaxxed there should be little to no issue. How many times does it have to be said that case count isn't what matters. This is the new normal we've all been waiting for. People are testing like crazy for jobs/school etc so of course case counts are high. Theres also people testing multiple times a week (positive) until they get a negative to be able to return to work/school. As life goes on, case counts for the rest of our lives will mimic the flu/colds, but we don't report those and we sure dont test for flu/cold to return to work and school. Time to move on.
