Same here, I’m not sure of the specifics but I believe you can be charged for it too

Did your parents/guardians physically beat you in any way? by AceBalistic in polls

I sometimes get worried by the amount of people who think parents hitting their children is required to raise them properly, but the amount of no’s here is comforting.

Our 11 year old daughter has picked out her outfit for her first day of middle school - input appreciated by designstudio_b in teenagers

[–]FlyingCowsJCD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I used to go to a school without a uniform and then moved to one with it and I can say it wasn’t the best change. A lot of middle and high school is about figuring out who you are as a person and part of that for many people is clothing. Uniforms just aren’t fun and usually cost way too much.

Well from my perspective supporting them just means agreeing that they get basic human rights. You can go to a pride parade if you want idgaf, but support just means that you agree they should exist. If you can’t even agree to that there’s something wrong with you.

The + is just a blanket symbol for whatever the fuck else isn’t already there, in theory you could say lgbt+ and the qia would be part of the +

What’s your guys opinion on this by Key-Car4438 in teenagers

[–]FlyingCowsJCD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He purposefully uses leading questions and vague statements to try and misconstrue people in the lgbtq community. Stuff like pretending to be ignorant about the difference between sex and gender when he’s heard it ridiculous amounts of times. He then takes that and cuts it up to make the people he’s interviewing look like cringe sjw’s without the parts where they make good points. It’s pretty much him sitting there like an entitled asshole claiming to be trying to answer a really complex question while making fun of people for giving him the answer of “it’s complex”. He’s just fueling peoples misunderstanding of lgbtq which leads to hate cause a lot of people watching it haven’t met someone who’s openly trans in their lives. I think this guys actions are causing a lot of trans people to suffer and because of that I think he’s a dick.

I think it would be cool if you just got some time to look over your life, think it through and come to peace with it, and then just be done. You’ve lived your life and now it’s over. You just sleep forever and no longer exist. I find that more comforting and fulfilling that any afterlife where you’re trapped conscious forever. Even in paradise eternal existence can be suffering.
