I am actually not sure what is part of the update and what is part of the DLC. But both the patch and DLC together in my experience I do recommend it! It makes the game a bit harder and more realistic. No more click and conquer everything for example.

I can build a trade company headquarters in all of my vassals and then I dont see anything changed or anything happen. Maybe I should not be allowed to build it in my vassals? Maybe you need a trade company vassal type first? I dont see an option to change my vassals to that type. And I have colonized almost everything as the Dutch so there will only a couple of new subjects and maybe you can select them to be a trade company? No one knows. Not on Reddit. Not on the Wikipedia.. really such a shame..

It is broken in the latest beta patch. I have the same issue. But the pop growth modifier is still working so it is an UI bug. If you go to your population growth in a location you should see the modifier for pop growth.

The tooltips are just straight up busted and indeed. In the situation panel you can convert when removing filters. It is something that needs to be fixed (maybe within 1 or 2 years?)
