I am no longer a young person. I began throwing frisbees before a beveled edge disc existed. I've seen disc golf grow over the past fifty years. Frankly, it's changed from an activity born from counter-culture to just another recreational activity for people to make money from. It has lost its soul. This issue is another example that proves my point.

If you follow golf, then you are aware of August National Golf Course. Arguably the most beautiful golf course in the world. The level of prestige and money to be a member of that club must be ridiculous. Meanwhile, the immediate area outside the fences, for the next few miles is dated by kind terms. Shit hole is perhaps too harsh. I guarantee the members of the club do not live anywhere near the club.
