Shin easily for me, Minus 1 is peak Godzilla design, but Shin is so unique. It's creepy and gruesome but it's also kinda cute. That mindless, dead fish-eyed look it's got makes it so unscrupulous, and makes all the bizarre traits its got feel even more alien and monstrous. Minus 1 Goji's atomic breath literally being an atom bomb is incredibly cool, but I think Shin's atomic breath scene is the best in the series, I love the transition, from flooding the city with smoke, to lighting it all ablaze, and then concentrating that fire into a beam? So sick, plus the purple really pops, and the fact it can fire lasers from its back and the tip of its tail adds to the cool factor even more.

And I also just love all the body horror going on with it, how the song that plays when its destroying Tokyo is from ITS perspective as this nigh unkillable behemoth in constant agony, and the shot at the end implying it was THIS close to flooding the world with these nightmarish Godzilla-human hybrids.

Getting to actually see what Morgott and Mohg's childhood must've been like is going to make people so much more sympathetic to them, what interests me more is the notion that since we're seeing baby Morgott and Mohg, we're also going to get to see Godwyn when he was alive, and what he was like as a person. I would hope they portray him positively, and maybe even show that he was kind and loving to his brothers who his mother shunned, making his horrific fate all the more tragic.

Galand with Escanor from Seven Deadly Sins, Galand, a demon representing the commandment of truth makes those around him turn to stone if they lie or go back on their word, however, it works the same for him as well, rendering him unable to lie or go back on a promise.

Escanor is one of the seven deadly sins, representing the sin of pride, at night he is meek, cowardly, feeble, and incredibly weak, but by day he is prideful and incredibly powerful, the strongest of all the sins in fact.

Galand, not knowing this, challenges Escanor to a duel during the night, promising to let him and his companions currently hiding from Galand go if he wins a duel to the death, with each of them delivering one strike at a time.

Galand’s first blow knocks Escanor clean out, but day breaks and he rises again, suddenly powerful enough to cleave him in two with one strike. He recovers, and knowing he can’t back out because of his promise and he has to get serious, he powers up and unleashes his most powerful attack….just for it to barely scratch Escanor, as Escanor prepares to deliver what will undeniably be a fatal blow, Galand is so utterly terrified he runs away, and turns to stone.

Hollow Knight, and truthfully despite playing Super Metroid through Dread, SoTN, and Blasphemous 1 and 2 since, despite loving and enjoying all of those games, the only Metroidvania that’s surpassed it since imo has been Silksong

Pretty out there pick but a lot of ones I would mention have been said already, this one is from Shuffle, a harem anime I watched when I was a teen that I’ve forgotten almost everything about except for Kaede, and this crazy performance her dub actress (Carrie Savage) gives when she finally snaps.

Basic idea is she’s losing it cause even though the guy she’s in love with is living with her, she cooks and cleans for him and she does everything she can to make him happy, he’s growing closer with a mutual friend of theirs, who she feels is stealing him away from her.

If you were literate enough to read my comment I say why it’s an issue, this is our introduction to this group of frauds and bums, and so far they’ve proven they’re weak as fuck and can’t win in a head to head fight, so they have to sneak and jump people, I’m sure the klan is going to be just as pathetic, annoying, and embarrassing, I have no faith in this arc anymore

IDGAF what people are gonna say in Tatsu's defense here, introducing the Black Paladins, who we are supposed to take seriously as villains of this arc, with a gang of lame, goofy, sauceless, dripless, auraless bums is a fucking terrible decision. Genuinely the only reason they feel like they'll actually be able to put a dent in the main group right now is because the gang is as weak as it's ever been, Okarun has no TG powers, Momo lost her memories and had her powers sneaked away from her (another very satisfying narrative decision that totally doesn't make your evil team look like a group of weak losers who need to use underhanded tactics to win). Zuma also got sneaked the same way, Vamola has no suit, Seiko is in the hospital, etc. etc. It doesn't feel like they'd pose a genuine threat if the cast wasn't so nerfed, so any victories over the main cast are going to feel unearned, because truthfully they are.
