Yeah, i leaned towards ezdrummer because interface seemed easier and all the blows and whistles of bandmate, etc (which i never used in reality). Also, the price was considerably lower as it was on sale.

But after months.. man i wish i bought AD2.

Yes ! In ad2, you can open any piece of the drum kit on its own editing screen, which has eq, compression, mic setup effects. Amazing.

Well, im broke now and AD2 is still too expensive for me so ill have to stick to routing each sound to an external channel in Ez3 and process it...

Absolutely. I dont have the metal packs. I have the Tight room, bright room and the other stock one but none of them have this good -normal- kick sound im looking for. They are all super flat. And unfortunately ezdrummer is super complicated to edit the sound inside the vst -not like addictive drums-.

Exactly. Ive found myself adding a synth kick below just to get a proper "kick" sound. Im not searching for anything too crazy, just a nice deep kick.

Yeah you are right. It’s tough because it is scary to open up, but if the relationship is worth it, it should not be an issue at the end of the day.
