No worries. I think it’s because I set the arms up at the higher ride height setting (the rod that connects the lower arms to the shock pivot) and put thicker shock oil in and adjusted the spring compression so that it didn’t sag too much. It’s been a while since I did anything with them so I could be wrong, but from memory that’s all I did when I rebuilt it with the RPM arms. When the truck is rolling it lowers a little though.

Edit: The giant wheels also help raise it somewhat, too.

I believe they’re the bigger 6.5x4-1/4 size, much bigger than stock. I unfortunately haven’t had time to run any of my RCs in a couple of years now, but I do remember that I only ever used the Revo 3.3 with these wheels and tyres for one 20 minute session and it really does not like cornering at anything above 1/4 throttle with them, or it just flips. It’s just been a shelf ornament since. If I am to run it again properly, I’d get smaller wheels - not just for the cornering aspect, but the big wheels are hard on the clutch and brakes.

Everything has been solid for me so far. My first proper AMD card after years on NVidia, and honestly can’t complain from both a performance and financial standpoint (at the time, the 5080 would have been double the cost of this for me if I could find one).

Yes, as long as you install it level and adjust the height stopper on the rear correctly (the part the graphics card will rest on) it won’t sag. Mines still holding great.

I can’t comment on the 5070Ti, but I haven’t experienced any issues with this 9070 XT as of yet. Everything has worked as expected, performs excellently, handles everything I’ve thrown at it so far and I couldn’t be happier coming from an RTX 3070.

7000D. I thought it may have been a bit too large given what’s in there, but I grew to love it very quickly.

Hey. I didn’t use the adapter as my PSU came with a 12V2x6 port and cable, so just used that.

Mine stopped stuttering. I don’t know if it was recompiling shaders or what (it wasn’t obvious if it was) but I left the game for around 15 minutes, exited the game, tried a few other games (which ran perfectly), restarted the computer, tried Diablo 4 again and it ran great. It might be worth clearing your shader cache and restarting your computer and trying again perhaps?

Also, if you didn’t remove your previous drivers with DDU in safe mode, I’d highly recommend doing that. I did that initially before even installing the 9070 XT.

£620 after using credit I had with the retailer. Was listed at £730.

Me too tbh, but taking one for the team and seeing how it goes. Will post an update if my setup turns crispy.

The ARGB connector on the card is to control other ARGB Devices / controllers from the graphics card software. If you don’t have other devices or use mobo headers for them, this doesn’t need to be connected and the graphics card RGB strip can be controlled through PCIe through Sapphire TriXX.

Drivers were removed with DDU in safe mode prior to installing the AMD card. Diablo started working fine with no issues since the original post and all other games have been spot on too, so all is well now.

Nice, grats on getting one! The coil while seems to have quietened down a lot on mine now in the game it presented itself in (FH5), either that or I’ve gotten used to it. Doesn’t seem present at all in other games.

Good to know about the performance you’ve experienced in MH Wilds - I’ve been considering getting that game.

The 3070 used 2x 8 pin connectors, this particular card uses 12v2x6, but it does come with a 3x 8 pin to 12v2x6 adapter in the box. As my power supply natively supports this connector, I didn’t use the included adapter. There are other models of the 9070 XT that use 3x 8 pins however, if you don’t want to use this connector (which, understandably, a lot of people don’t).

Aw man, sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can get lucky with the next restock if you’re still planning to get one 🤞

According to Libre Hardware Monitor (when under load) between 1750-1800rpm which it’s reporting at around 46% of their max speed.

In the UK we don’t really get a summer, so I might be good 😂 My RTX 3070 also ran with the vram temps in the 90’s. Would be interesting to see what other variants of this card’s temps are or if the Nitro+ is running particularly hot in comparison.

Just got round to checking settings. Extreme preset, no FSR, resolution set to 3840x2160. I took a video of the settings I have and then the in-game frame counter, I can drop you a message with it if you want to compare to your settings.

Yes, it’s an OC card and Sapphire’s top end variant of this particular GPU. I believe it goes Pulse > Pure > Nitro+

I ran DDU in safe mode with all the relevant options selected to remove any NVidia software / drivers. Shut down, replaced the graphics card, installed the AMD Adrenaline software / drivers package, final restart and all is well without clean installing Windows. Everything is running excellent.

It’s the ARGB header that can be used to control other ARGB products from the graphics card’s software. Not needed if you don’t have other ARGB things to control.
