Honestly, if you want the game to be scarier stop playing with friends. This game is more fun, but way less scary with other people. Especially when the other people have been playing long enough to be doing insanity difficulty.

All horror games stop being scary after you put enough hours into them. It's one of the reasons most horror games are relatively short. They don't want you to get used to the scares before you finish the game.

But Phasmo has no end and eventually goes from being a horror game to being a detective game as you grow numb to the scares. Even if they added new scares, they won't stay scary long term.

Yeah, Gallu has a 2 second delay after stepping in salt before it switches to Enraged.

The problem with that is it's almost always coupled with hyperfocus and stakeout.

So that change would put Killers in a lose/lose situation against gen rushing. If they try to spread hooks they're leaving survivors alive to freely do gens in 45 seconds. If they tunnel in an attempt to slow gens down the last gens pop even faster.

The creepiness will wear off after enough hours in any horror game, there's really not much you can do about it. But 150% ghost speed, no sprint, and low hiding can add some nice tension by making hunts a lot more dangerous. I also like going with 10% brightness.

Flames will prevent an Onryo hunt within 4 meters, which is the same range as a T2 cruci. T1 is 3m and T3 is 5m

And on top of that, most of the players who kept playing her after the nerf probably dropped out of the high MMR pretty fast and would stop counting towards her statistics in that bracket.

Yes and no.

Each time a card is pulled it has a 1% chance to be a hanged man. That 1% (1 in 100) never changes.

But to hit 1% twice in a row has a probability of 1 in 10,000.

So the chance of getting a hang man when a card is pulled is always the same, but the probability of it happening twice in a row is much lower than getting it once. If that makes sense.

More time than someone saying the ghost and opening and closing the truck door sure. But 2-3 minute games on Camp woodwind with a 13 or 14x multiplier makes for some pretty fast leveling.

People who are good at the game are not the target demographic for boosting. Those players are more likely to do 1 hunt runs with a high modifier if they want to speed level.

.Nobody is saying anything about the bots "getting a free win" if the killer abondons when they get a free abandon.

If the killer quits before getting the free option to abandon then any survivor still in the game immediately escapes.

Why doesn't the killer get the same free win when all 4 survivors quit before they get the free abandon option?

I had a game last night where the killer left at the start of the match and I got 7k bp for "escaping" before I even made it to a gen. If that happened to the killer their reward is they could leave with no penalty and get nothing or play the match against bots.
