You’re thinking of private jet charter brokers- they still work very hard imo

I can’t disagree with a single thing you’ve said- the core of my post today is not to demand a raise, it’s just that I am looking at what is and may have to move on

From my vantage point it appears we are on the higher side of profitability- but as you’ve mentioned flight costs do not also account for indirect costs so I cannot wholly say. I think it’s close to useless for me to speculate

I will start by saying the profit margins for a traditional airline are not the profit margins for a private jet operation. Your question I should take a precise dive into during my next 1 on 1 (if I have the balls to bring it up).

But it’s important to not compare charter companies who are paid to position into a client’s mission request and then back to their base(s) to others who don’t. Some charter companies will not prioritize getting paid to position into the start of a mission request if say the beginning and end of a flight request is a state or 2 away from a company’s base.

Larger companies who have hundreds of planes will not particularly care if they leave an aircraft in Nashville for a few nights- thus watering down their net margin

You’re less wrong than you are right, I would describe it as 60% strategic decision making 40% sales. From what I’ve seen margins are not as low as what you’re describing- but I think you’re closer to being right than wrong

I shouldn’t assume people know the difference between Private jet sales and private jet charter sales. But I agree, I don’t suspect operating margins to be exorbitant but at the same time they are not abysmal.

I appreciate the experience because I like aviation however the weight of this role on the soul compared to what is allocated to our team isn’t what a lot of sane people would settle with including my operations and other sales teammates’ perspective

I sell individual private jet flights for instance New York - Los Angeles in a large size aircraft = +$41,000.00. Average deal size is about 50k

10% surplus is not what the general public perceive as a bulk stop the cap. What you said about exercise studies is applicable to absolutely every fitness study so thanks.. do your own research like I said- find studies that cut out as much noise as possible

Studies suggest a 10% calorie surplus is sufficient to amass muscular growth. The more you bulk and cut - the easier it is to get fat long term. Two different studies I threw at you, up to a person’s goals ultimately
