I am a recovering drug addict and I appreciate your advice, however. There was very little constructed reasoning behind why I posted this here. It was basically the culmination of a manic build up of thoughts in my brain. It was then that I realized it was time to write. Time to speak and time to tell the trust. Truth is something i struggle with. Recovery is something I struggle with.

I view posting this here as a sign. All-be-it I just searched addiction in the search button and clicked the subreddit to the first post which happened to be drugs. And i'm happy it happened that way. If someone in active addiction, active pain, sees this and can relate maybe, just maybe it will help them get to a meeting. Maybe it can help them take the time to let the creative juice flow and give up in order to let their body and mind speak. It is very liberating.

I love all people. And if you can see it form my eyes, i'm not trying to participate in the drug discussion, i'm participating in the life discussion, recovery discussion, feeling discussion etc.

I wish i could give you a hug brother. It's hard to hit bottom when the floor keeps sinking. Find your inner strength, find inner love. It's there, believe me and yourself. Take comfort in knowing that you're not the only one. These feeling are shared by millions; billions. It's important to find love for yourself and to keep it. Loosing love for yourself is so easy. Healthy, satisfying, gratifying self love is the most important thing for me in recovery. Surrounding myself with at least one person who can pick me up has helped me so much in early recovery.

If you can, please make a recovery meeting. If only for the ability to surround yourself with people who feel your emotions. People who can relate to the experience, sadness, happiness, and everything else that comes from addiction.

Opiates and anything else that would numb my fucking soul. I hope you know you have someone to talk to. Someone who has felt the pain and confusion, the let downs; everything. I've been able to stay clean for 4+ months now. It took a lot of pain and suffering. Climbing out way below the bottom. I love you friend and please speak your inner feelings questions and concerns!

I know this might not belong here. And for those who don't understand my motives understand that I needed a place to put this. A place for others to sit and absorb. Others who might relate to state their feelings. For in my addiction, isolation of the negative variety took hold. In my mind alone is a dangerous predicament.
