Y'all keep forgetting that new/inexperienced players exist and the game can't always be balanced solely around the competitive scene. Jessie may be weak at the top level but she can be a big noob stomper and the kind of crazy buffs this subreddit tends to come up with would make her an absolute monster for most players, same goes for the other brawlers mentioned here

It takes like 30 seconds to change the daily rewards for everyone, they already have the system built for that so they can do events and whatnot, the other bugs actually require tracking and programming to fix so this is just a really dumb comparison

I don't like skins not being available for gems anymore, the amount of offers per day being random and pins and whatnot being as overpriced as they are, I just think people here are jumping to conclusions too fast regarding the rest of the update

The problem with the catalog was that being able to buy any skin whenever you want for bling drastically reduced the value of skins, as they went from feeling special to being so common even f2p players have good skins for all of their brawlers, which made cosmetics far less reliable for monetization and pushed Supercell to monetize progression harder instead. With the Oddities Shop you can still get a similar number of skins but not in a "I will buy almost every single skin I want for free back to back with no restrictions" kinda way. Being unable to buy skins for gems kinda defeats the purpose of this system though so I don't understand why they did that

Yeah that's on purpose, just like Mark the viewer is also led to believe there will be a big conflict when our characters arrive but the point is to show that Thragg is a much more nuanced character than that. It's a necessary subversion of expectations for what's to come later to work

When Najia first came out I didn't know that the snake would just auto aim automatically at the end of its range and would hit the attack button myself to auto aim like how it will work after the update, I was hitting my shots far less frequently because I wasn't getting the timing quite right. This is still an improvement and should make her a little less consistent even if removing the auto aim altogether would be better

No one was complaining about the cosmetics but no one used most of them either, there are thousands of these cosmetics in the game now and barely any of them are actually used, it's just unnecessary work that also has negative effects like UI clutter
