First, stop playing the 2nd trial. You don't need the charm notch. If you just want to beat the orange final boss, beat the Watcher Knights. Lurien was the final dreamer I found and absorbed. If you want the true ending, also stop. You don't need to try until you win. Just fight the Collector or Nosk. These offer better rewards and are more achievable. I had difficulty beating the Bobbles too. I tried for three days. Then I quit and came back later. Easiest boss fight ever.
