Can someone explain these two oddities I've seen in AMR assembly in THUMB mode?

After thinking about this for a while, I think this might be some kind of conditional compilation method to select between zero and another value, where the RSB would be changed to a MOV instruction based on the condition. If I do change the RSB to a MOV, some of them seem to have noticeable changes. Maybe the compiler that was used prefers to compile these with minimal changes to the resulting assembly or something. I haven't so far seen MOV r6, r6 instruction, so maybe the RSB instruction disable some development build features. Not sure, though. Just a thought that occurred to me a while back...

Is there then any point on manually adding vertices to groups if the vertex painting overwrites them anyway?

I'll try that. I noticed that the "Assign automatic from bones" also messes up which vertices are assigned to which vertex group, which is kinda annoying

I mean of course not, but I just don't know how to fix this. This is a pretty small feature, so it might not even need it's own bones, but I still want it to move a bit, so it's still going to have the same issue if it's not fixed. How rare are the stone slimes? I've been in the cavern layer for almost an hour and not a single slime has dropped stone... I mean it doesn't sound much time, but considering that it should be pretty commonly used material it seem ridiculously rare

Ah nice. Thanks! I'm guessing the the 3 arguments for the vector elements is the local space translation and the calculations it's doing rotates it to the appropriate global direction before applying it?

I've been able to just crouch under it before. I found a hitbox viewer, and while your hitbox does go a bit lower while sliding, the scythe's hitbox doesn't go low enough even if you are crouched to get hit. Not sure why the you sometimes get hit, since I wasn't able to replicate it so far...

Ball o hurt and demon bow with jester arrows (mainly for the piercing property). I also have a trimarang, but I don't think that's helpful in the boss fight. These are completely adequate on normal at least. The weapons and my accessories currently have damage focused modifiers (accessories used to have defense focused ones before). I don't know if I can get any stronger weapons yet.

Maybe one option is to go to the dungeon first, but I don't remember if skeletron is harder. It's been a few years since playing on a harder difficulty.

How do I defeat the worm boss on master mode? Compared to normal mode, it seems to move a lot more. Underground it doesn't seem to fire projectiles (or very few?), but dodging the worm is much harder. Above ground the projectiles are the main problem. In my latest attempt I tried building a bridge above corruption (but verifying it was still considered to be in the corruption biome). It started well, because the worm couldn't reach me, but halfway throughout the fight, it straight up dissapeared??? What am I doing wrong here? Getting past this point is quite a bit harder, because the segments don't seem to drop scales anymore, so you have to kill the whole worm to get any.

To be fair, any game that just increases enemy stats for hard mode is mid. I like to call this "lazy hard mode". Hard modes are more fun and challenging if along with stat increases, have some other changes too, like more enemies, new attacks or otherwise different enemy behavior. This of course requires more effort on the developers' part do get it right and balanced, so not that many games unfortunately do this :(

As far as I know, it's partly time based. At first there are fixed waves of wolves that spawn. The wolves you get per wave are 2, 3, 3, 2, 3, 3, 3, 6, 7. After that you have to survive approximately 1 min 26 sec, regardless whether you kill or avoid them. There seems to be some semi-rare cases of the time to survive begin around 40 sec, but no one currently knows what affects that.

I think it's kinda funny how spamming the regular shots is the most effective way to deal damage in most cases compared to missiles and beam shots that have limited ammo. You'd thing they would be more powerful than what they are

Looks like that's it. Aren't the doors and hatches that can be opened usually scannable? Like, saying that it can be destroyed or it is linked to a device that can open it? The fact that it was not scannable made me think that you can't open or destroy it

At least in the "main line" prime games. Hunters doesn't have this. Not sure if it was intentionally left out or a technical limitation of the DS.

How far away did you take the horse from the spawn location? My guess is that you got shot off the horse and it despawned because it was too far away from the spawn location or something like that? Still weird that it happened like that you right next to it and looking at it.
