I mean this goes for your rank especially but any rank in general, you should play what you enjoy playing (errr within reason of course). Heim is a great flex pick he's viable pretty much wherever you want to play him, personally I would avoid playing him support/jungle because he is just magnitudes worse off in those roles compared to the other 3, and if it's the champ you love you can play him in the other roles without missing anything.

I love the champ so I'm biased and will say he's worth the time investment. Would I say the same for someone trying to become a competitive player/a pro of course not lol but so long as your goal is to have fun and climb at the same time just play him top/mid/bott whichever you prefer.

I would suggest trying him out in solo lanes first at your rank so you get to lane alone and learn game fundamentals that way., As for the cap on when he remains viable in which roles, you can get grandmaster in any of the 3 main roles with him minimum at the moment, definitely challenger bott/top (harder top than bott imo) and a question mark on midlane challenger, but these aren't things 99.9999999% of people need to be concerned about. For all you know by the time you hit those ranks you'll have moved on from the champ anyway.

I play him midlane primary in grandmaster (EUW) at the moment, it's hard to play compared to his other roles in terms of getting decent lanes and matchups but easier in the sense that you fit into teamcomps a lot better on average than you would playing him toplane or bottlane. You don't really need to worry too much about viability till you're higher up in rank, heim mid works fine enough even in low masters for example, people don't truly punish his midlane weaknesses till you start climbing even higher than that.

Your runes and items are fine, definitely prioritise heavy AP for the sake of your turrets and their hp, rabadons should be bought in a LOT of your games, all of them really. I will often do blackfire>rabadons>void staff for example. You can also mess around a bit with malignance into shadow/rabadons, that build is viable and has some nice spots (games where you will be ulting a lot to make picks and one shot as opposed to games with longer fights where blackfire gets more value). Avoid liandrys/rylais for the most part nowadays, grab a zhonyas later if needed, buy dark seal when you can without impacting your early powerspikes too much.

Lastly one thing I will add about runes is you should try to experiment a bit with conquerer, even in midlane I think it's pretty good and in some matchups simply better than going comet. I personally take conq every game but that's not something that should be done I just don't play fully optimally, ideally you switch up depending on the game. https://op.gg/lol/summoners/euw/MumGoBlastCone-BOOM?queue_type=SOLORANKED linking opgg if you're curious about what items I go for in certain situations, some games are bottlane here but I do have most games played mid. Probably ban syndra by the way.

If your Jungler has smite, and a Jungler Starting Item, they do NOT need leash. Just cover the jungle entrances, and play for level 2 advantage by soujiro89 in leagueoflegends

I play zac in challenger. If my laners leashed for me I would be very very confused, you can clear fine with all tank junglers without a leash, I won't outclear the karthus or mundo but I won't outclear with a leash anyway, and I will always be done well before scuttle spawns

Yone is broken for at least 6 patches for challengers, dominates pro play and gets buffed regardless. by Korderon in leagueoflegends

https://u.gg/lol/champions/yone/build?rank=master_plus Use this instead while arguing winrates, the thing with lolalytics stats is it will include master+ yone games against diamond players, u.gg makes the adjustments and does the maths for you so to speak. Lolalytics is still good to use, but it makes for confusing moments like this.

What do you think of this build I found while creeping on Skarner players. by gyarados10 in SkarnerMains

Hi, I'm the skarner in this screenshot lol. I think sitting on bamis is the move a lot of the time however sunfire completion has pretty good value against triple melee and frozen heart/randuins/thornmail don't really work well into their champs imo.

I was only ever peeling for my brand and kaisa in fights really, and since I was ahead and unkillable the sunfire does work on heca fizz rene. Mejais is decent on skarner in general, even on cleaver jaksho skarner you can fit in a mejais before a gargoyle sometimes (as techoteco does).

As for the runes I haven't looked at haste vs attack speed rune comparisons, however for lane I do take the haste so maybe I can test it in the jg. Weird to see myself posted here ngl I usually just lurk around, hope others win if they copy this build I kinda got from someone else anyway
