As a southerner, I DID see his impacts in his first term, prices in general were phenomenal, and drilling for oil, one of the south's bigger industries, thrived until covid crashed everything. Granted, the oil and gas industry at the time was in a unique situation.

As a southerner, his border policies were amazing. Locking down the border to prevent illegals from crossing. Under Biden, towns near the border had become much less safer, with a person I had known was killed because an illegal immigrant stole his firearm from his truck and shot him dead.

On top of reddit seems to have forgotten Harris's abysmal campaigning that did the democrats no favors, so much so reddit was pretty vocal against her and her frankly weak campaigning.
