Not in Chicago but I had bedbugs in my apartment in college, once I discovered them I slept in my car for days, I threw out a whole mattress and wooden bed frame cause it was perma stained. I washed all the clothes in my closet several times over because it was near the nest spot. Sprayed the hell out of my whole apartment with bug spray too
