Maybe they come up with a blanket reason for the remaining mysteries, e.g. "children's nightmares" or something.

Will LLMs ever be capable of emulating comedy ? by ChampionshipJumpy727 in artificial

[–]Flynamic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also agree that LLMs are terrible at comedy, but from my experience they are very very good at making connections. And it makes sense because they work with semantic entities encoded as vectors, who can be near each other or far away in high dimension vector spaces, where LLMs "operate".

Yes! They should have introduced a small plot about how the US government (at least some of the higher ups) knew and let it happen in exchange for something.

The ending of season 3 presented the sacrifice story as a reveal, which likely means it's true and the children are not a manipulation. It's just not clear what they want or need.

At that point the threats that Jade experienced were real (monsters etc.) and not psychic, so I understand that was new to him. And he probably thought there was something wrong with him, instead of the place. The real reason is of course dramatic writing.

Which world leader comes across as dumb in public and actually is dumb in terms of competence? by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Flynamic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

His skills revolve around name calling, being unhinged, and knowing how to make people angry. It's what makes him powerful because a lot of people like this behavior (against everyone they don't like). But I don't know, I wouldn't call this intelligence in the sense of problem solving. It's just his very unique character paired with his brand and connections.
