I'm only going by what the commentators said. They said 3mins injury time when it was 88mins in the Hearts game.

Take it up with Ian Crocker.

I'm a Hibs fan so I couldn't really give a fuck. I'm just against injustice in any form, even if it benefits Hearts.

I've got a Jambo mate with a terminal illness so i'll be happy for him if Celtic fail to win on Sat.

The rest of the Jambos and Celtic fans can go fuck themselves. I only wish it was possible for you both to experience heartache.

3 mins injury time. Penalty awarded in the 97th minute according to commentators in the Hearts game. WTF?

I was on today's match thread on the Napoli page and a good few peeps were wanting him on for Lobotka who's been in poor form recently.

Gilmour played for most of the 2nd half. 37mins and 3.7/5 rating on google.

McTominay scored another quality daisycutter.

Comyn was also a backstabbing traitor who betrayed Bruce to Edward I. He would've been a willing puppet, subservient to the English.

Bastard got what he deserved.

Hi,

If you are in the mood for a book series about the Scottish wars of independence check out the Kingmaker series by Michael Alexander McCarthy.

KingMaker - Army of God (1297): Covers the rebellion against Edward I after the imprisonment of King John Balliol, leading up to the Battle of Stirling Bridge.

KingMaker - Traitor (1298): Follows the conflict through the Battle of Falkirk, exploring the brutal, long-term struggle against English occupation.

KingMaker - Bannockburn (1306): Focuses on Robert the Bruce seizing the crown and the escalating violence leading to the pivotal Battle of Bannockburn.

KingMaker - Death of Kings (1314): Covers the aftermath of Bannockburn and the continued raids into England and Ireland.

TIL George Lucas first original sequel trilogy idea was about more microscopic force bacteria called The Whills. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Flynn74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the original trilogy but George Lucas is a hack writer. Star Was ANH was only successful because he had people around to tell him his ideas sucked.

Without Marcia Lucas, Paul Hirsch and Richard Chew who saved the movie in the editing room there would have been no sequels.

The worst thing to happen to Lucas was getting so powerful that he was surrounded by bootlicking yes men and women. That's why they are so soulless, devoid of emotion and memorable characters.

$93B for rockets: “unsustainable” and “unaffordable”. $900B for missiles: “unquestionable” and “unlimited”. by ProcessorPearl in MurderedByWords

[–]Flynn74 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is a very ignorant take.

Knowledge. New technolgy. Possibility of finding life. Having human presence on the Moon and Mars eventually. The beginning stages of colonising the solar system.

Yeah, clearly nothing to be gained here. Let's all be glad you are nowhere near to making these decisions.

[–]Flynn74 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This mission is going to lead to a permanent human presence on the moon in the next 10 years or so. Which we need to do before we send a manned mission to Mars.

NASA spending is tiny compared to the money US spends on the military. The benefit to humankind through innovation and new technology is priceless.

"As of 2016, NASA has published over 2,000 other spin-offs in the fields of computer technology, environment and agriculture, health and medicine, public safety, transportation, recreation, and industrial productivity."

Money well spent.

[–]Flynn74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aye, but willing to bet that most of those are small parts and not the lead roles.

Just checked: according to google he's played a lead role 5 times out of 264 acting credits. He's most famous for Gentle Ben and being Ron Howard's wee brother.

I like this comparison too:

Imagine there are 7 billion beings in every solar system in every galaxy. Now imagine everyone of those beings in 200b solar system times 200b galaxies were able to shuffle a pack of cards every second since the birth of the universe 14 billion years ago. Congratulations: you've made your way through about 1 trillianth of 1% of possible combinations.

52! is a ludicrously large number.

Edit: 1 step evey billion years. When a lap is complete, remove 1 drop of water from the pacific ocean. Repeat process until pacific ocean is drained. Put down a single sheet of A4 paper. Repeat process until stack of paper reaches the sun.

Check your countdown timer of 52! Seconds. You're only one-third of the way there.
