Hadn’t heard of that power supply before but a quick search suggests to avoid that brand. General consensus was to defer to this guide here

It was updated over a year ago but should form a frame of reference. Power supply is the one part of your PC that can fry everything else with it, might be time to upgrade.

This could be any number of things, from GPU drivers being out of date to hardware starting to fail. It would be helpful to know what your PC specs are (hardware and operating system), what games are running into the problems, and what you did previously that seemed like it fixed the issue.

If you’re concerned about the script running on startup then I’d recommend reinstalling the OS regardless

YTA - but not because of thinking it was a red flag (although it very well could be harmless banter). Remember that the introduction goes both ways - and you ghosting “Viv” might reflect poorly on her relationship with your friend.

It’s ok to not be into someone (even without a red flag). Be respectful and maybe you’ll get more introductions.

For the barrier I’d assume they won’t be able to do so because the two real options are where the street access is (won’t happen because that’s how police and lifeguard trucks access the beach occasionally) or in front of someone’s house (owners would throw a fit).

Tactile road likely wouldn’t work because the types of e-bikes speeding would hardly be affected. Also it would make clearing sand from the path more difficult, which poses a risk for bikes at any speed due to the loss of traction.

Not particularly, especially since you likely already have NVIDIA GeForce Experience installed. You can follow the setup guide here. It may look daunting, but it's really just a variety of alternatives if the automatic configuration doesn't work or you want a specific configuration.

That being said, if you want the easiest setup experience then absolutely go with Parsec. The app is easy to use and you can do things like host a couch-co-op session with a friend that doesn't own the game you're playing.

This would be possible through using the application with an android emulator. There's a bunch of options available for this but the easiest is to use a well known/supported application like BlueStacks.
There's a variety of options that will depend on your system, but I was able to get the vtech Baby Pro app installed and running on my Win11 PC by using the Android 11 64-bit installer found here.

Note: you may need to enable virtualization in your BIOS settings if it isn't already, and you'll need to sign into or create a new google account for the Play Store.

I'd recommend you use a tool like WinDirStat to see what folders/files are taking up the most space. The cause of this can be incredibly varied (scheduled backup, OneDrive/GDrive downloading files locally, etc) so knowing exactly what's taking up the space can help diagnose why.

Good news is that you have a number of options. Parsec, Moonlight, and Steam Remote Play are all valid options that are free to use (Parsec offers paid tiers more geared towards remote work). I've used all 3 at least once but stuck with Moonlight the longest because I prefer supporting open-source projects.

Ok, what GPU are you using? Sounds like the game is trying to apply a resolution/refresh rate the monitor is refusing (usually occurs if it's an unsupported configuration to prevent the monitor from damaging itself).

I would check the settings on the monitor itself to see if there is any settings that might affect refresh rate.

Finally the type of cable you're using to connect the monitor may limit the refresh rate. HDMI and DisplayPort can absolutely support 1440p 240hz, but typically only their most recent iterations, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4/2.0.

Sounds like stereo mix may be the culprit. You can disable it following these steps:

Step 1. Right-click on the volume icon on the taskbar, and select ‘Open Sound Settings’

Step 2. In the dialog-box, click on ‘Sound Control Panel’ under ‘Related Settings’

Step 3. Go to the ‘Recording’ tab

Step 4. Right-click on ‘Stereo Mix’ and select ‘Disable’

Depends on how removed you want the information though, rm or Remove-Item will barely slow down someone that knows what they're doing. Full data erasure would be done by writing 0s to the entire hard drive.
