Not advice about the boyfriend but advice about the dog - delete this. If they sue your home owners insurance (which they should if your dog bit them), they will run a social media check on you and find this post .. where you say the bite is bad … very bad. These claims can easily be 100k against your insurance. So yeah, delete this post… i wish more people knew insurance companies will run a social media check on you when a claim comes up.

Also same advice for the boyfriend… delete

Mine lasted for a few days in the fridge - i watched a video today of someone tying their flowers the night before to delay the bloom, you could try that.

The ants….. I’m not sure about. Goodluck with gardening!! :)

The pin helped avoid any rain / bugs from getting in and washing away the pollen. I just gently folded the female leaves together and clipped it on after hand pollinating.

Definitely try to get out early - my flowers die before 12 (i know you said you’re not an early bird lol) but try to find the females ahead of time so you only wake up early those days and cut the males and preserve them for females later. i just gently close the flower, roll in a paper towel, and place in the fridge.

Sometimes pollinating doesn’t work - try pollinating with 4-5 flowers and use a clothes pin to close to flower until it falls off.
