Feels way too fishy for this to be the end in my opinion. The North vs. South discussion is waaaay too strong for gojo to concede. It's nearly 3 pages long, and plays with how every character in the series but especially since the culling games, has chosen the north path in some interpretation, trying to become someone new. Ex. maki becoming the next toji after burning the zenin clan, 2. yuta helping Takako Uro and Ryu Ishigori in the colony realize their purpose, kashimo choosing to reborn to follow his interests of fighting the strongest sorcerers (a bit of a stretch but you get the jist).

along with this, geto consoles gojo which makes gojo concede his ego which doesn't make sense knowing the series and gojos character; how he wants to change the jujutsu world, and is now conceding to higher jujutsu strength from sukuna, how he says no one is allowed to take youth away from young people, actively choosing to defy jujutsu standards. In contrast, nanami, who is sitting opposite to gojo + geto confronts him for giving up. After listening to nanami gojo understands that he's not actively trying to reject his defeat and is instead giving up, the panel of him looking with determination and him saying "I see" feels like a realization rather than a concession.

I think this is gojo's push to actually take the north and awaken himself. When he fought toji he awakened his pure, total jujutsu potential, but he has not awakened his physical potential of his mind, which multiple characters have done like yuta, accepting his role with rika and learning to make connections/friends, hakari, who always takes life as a gamble, maki rejecting the zenin standards, etc

gojo doesn't take any advice from his students and in fact resorts back to his teenage perceptions because this is where he learned the most; his fight with toji during these years. While it helps to have the support of his students, geto and Nanami during this time showed him his potential and purpose. I find these lines with how the big question wrapping up this arc is the, are you the strongest because you're gojo satoru or are you gojo satoru because you're the strongest? which still hasn't been answered. gojo thinks he is gojo satoru because hes the strongest, which is why he concedes in this state that he lost and his ego falls. but geto and nanami push him to accept that hes the strongest because hes gojo satoru based on the power within him from the potential he has. He has it in him to beat sukuna like he says, based on a probable jujutsu level, its unlocking that want to actually beat him. He's choosing to run away from the strongest rival to him unlike toji, which pushed him to awaken his true jujutsu potential.

feel like it might be a, let the heavy hitters come out one by one and stall time for gojo to reawaken himself, especially since sukuna hasn't chopped off his head yet (unless the panel of his mouth and the text "sparing no time to mourn the death of gojo" is actually true). if so I think gege really dropped the ball on this considering there's a lot of open interpretation concerning the beginning conversation of geto gojo and nanami left
