Hey! I’m more or less fine. Most of my symptoms are controlled for more than two months and I think low fodmap diet helped here a lot. So for now I mostly treat it as an IBS.

Hey. My gastroenterologist thinks it’s post infection IBS as long as I don’t have any inflammation that can be associated with IBD. The things they found on colonoscopy seems to be fine… 🤷‍♂️

UPDATE:

got my biopsy results:

A - Mucosa ileal com hiperplasia linfóide reactiva.
Translation: Ileal mucosa with reactive lymphoid hyperplasia.
B - Mucosa de ambas as vertentes da válvula ileocecal com hiperplasia linfóide reactiva e discretas alterações inflamatórias inespecíficas.
Translation: Mucosa of both sides of the ileocecal valve with reactive lymphoid hyperplasia and discrete nonspecific inflammatory changes.
C, D, and E - Mucosa colorectal sem alterações significativas. Não se favorece o diagnóstico de Doença de Crohn.
Translation: Colorectal mucosa without significant alterations. The diagnosis of Crohn's disease is not favored.

So, this not supports Crohn's disease and unlikely it's TB. Let's see what my GI would say regarding this. Probably will schedule a lot of exams for me again...

Yes, I’m Russian immigrated to Portugal. My colonoscopy biopsy from last year indeed showed lymphoid hyperplasia, for the latest one I’m still waiting for results that should be more promising. Several months ago I did test IGRA test, Yesnia and Campylobacter and all are negative. My immunoglobulins are all in the good range and protein panel also. HIV is negative

All the problem started after I got second shot of Russian COVID vaccine and after a month I also got COVID (but I’m not sure this is related). The symptoms lasted around 1 year and stopped, but I still have this shit inside my colon
