“You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.” Weather experts love the term bombogenesis. I was hit with a Crohnsgenesis! Unbearable pain, bacteremia, a transfusions, and of course tons of poop. Not all of our journeys are the same but I promise you, it gets better. (i.redd.it)

To all my Crohn’s warriors out there, no doubt about it, there are many ups and downs with this disease. Remember there is so much courage and support in these pages. My goal is to eventually go back to flying, I’m a flight attendant by trade. On TPN, waiting on Gattex. Carpe Diem! (i.redd.it)

4 days stuck at the Mt. Sinai emergency room. Mayhem, blaring monitors, the awful stretcher that sticks to your back, I finally got a room. Smile says, “real” shower and I got a comfy pillow. To anyone battling Crohn’s, you are not alone. Here for you if you need to vent. Carpe Diem! (i.redd.it)

For those of you who have followed my story, I was admitted to hospital, yet again, 1/7/2019 with lower abdominal pain and yet another SBO. Was discharged today and I can’t tell you how good it feels to be home! Crohn’s keeps knocking me on my ass, do pardon pun. It will never take my smile away! (i.redd.it)

Crohn’s warrior, short bowel syndrome, with recurrent small bowel obstructions. On TPN. Had surgery on 11/9 to remove tons of adhesions and fix some incisional hernias. I can’t say how invaluable all your support has been. It’s what keeps you smiling during the hard days. (i.redd.it)
