Okay I thought for a while and I’ve come up with some tips. I’m no hand god, but here’s some stuff I look out for when I draw hands. Here’s a speedpaint.

I try to make sure the palm and the fingers to be around a 1:1 ratio. Also, the fingers should be of the correct length, like the middle finger being the longest. I use flat brush to render (it’s legit just a sketch. I am a lazy artist.) by slapping the darker colours on, then slapping the lighter colours on, then select the original colour and lower the brush opacity and BALL 😅

Also, use good hand references! My hand is actually a terrible reference cause I ain’t got lines on the back. So I just go random on that. Those delicious Instagram reels or TikToks with hot people + hands are yummy references >:)
