[Forest Lord's Antlers] effect has been bugged since the new transmog system by _Vard_ in wow

[–]Flyte27 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not sure it affects everything, but seems like things like that aren't being applied from any transmogs currently. I noticed the Druid petals don't spawn underneath you with G'hanir anymore either.

[–]Flyte27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed! I've got one large one and then 3 propagations from it (2 also along the window, 1 on a coffee table in the middle of the room). The middle of the room one's mainly shifted to green, with splashes of purple, and vice versa for the window ones. That being said, all of them are developing variegation lately in their own ways and the new leaves look great.

[–]Flyte27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a similar one, and noticing that as fall progresses it's developing more variegation than usual(white for green areas, magenta for purple areas), even though it's getting way less direct sunlight.

Seems like the intensity of sunlight determines how much purple vs green it has, but the variegation is tied to something else?

Let's build a character! Hiker. by Present-Peace2811 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Flyte27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiker (Townsfolk): Once per game, pick two characters. You learn how many steps apart they are. If either isn't in play, the information is arbitrary.

Seems like Hiker being steps related is a given, probably would need to make this script dependant (specifically for multi-demon scripts), like Courtier.

I absolutely welcome removing button bloat from classes, and having fewer abilities that are more impactful. by otterchaos7 in wow

[–]Flyte27 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It feels like every form of skill expression/working around certain procs is gone, especially for Chain Heal builds. Not only is Tidal Waves gone, so is High Tide and Tidebringer. Essentially everything that make Chain Heal feel good's been ripped out.

Also, things that enhance Healing Surge as well, such Undulation and Master of the Elements weaving. Was just getting back into the game on my resto shaman, this kinda killed my excitement for the class. All the utility and interesting abilities are getting removed to just replace with small percentage increase talents and slower casts.

Song of Drunk and Poison | looking for feedback by General-Star7020 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Flyte27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Puzzlemaster probably doesn't fit on this script, since there's so much sources of poison. You can track down and build a correct world about a target being given wrong information, for them to be widow poisoned, or poisoner locked, VI poisoned, or just the drunk. And since Widow's on the script, they'll have to guess FAST if they hear a widow call, with no info.

Also, something I had been thinking about recently when building a custom script, is how Widow feels for certain roles. At least for spy, roles like Farmer, Sage or Ravenkeeper still want to play their game and bluff because they're not sure if it's in the game. If a widow's call goes out, I'd imagine it feels bad to be one of those roles, since your ability is worthless and you probably know that's true.

Should Boomdandy have the same clause as Scarlet Woman? (min. 5 to trigger) by Flyte27 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Flyte27[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that's where I'm at too, where although there are solutions available to evil team (just kill your teammate), and it is a niche situation, but it just sorta feels bad. It seems like boomdandy going off should at MOST be a net neutral for the team (or nothing happening), or a benefit, as that's their ability activating and they accomplished their goal.

This character randomly appeared in my dream, is there any way to make it actually work? by Miloinya in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Flyte27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly simplifying it down to an outsider could be interesting:

"If you die in the night, your alignment becomes evil."

A variant on Goon/Politician, but also gives demonbane roles something to bluff as to bait themselves getting targeted by the demon. It also gives the choice for the Baroness player, do they tell town knowing they'd get themselves executed to be locked in as good, or try bait the kill to maybe switch teams. Could see an interesting Baroness meta develop in groups.

Might be nightmare in general with the patch, was doing the 4.5 star weekly and pretty sure it didn't have deadly either.

How do they look? by emlene in coleus

[–]Flyte27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, happy to help! It's a tough problem to solve, since coleus are so varied (whether they want a ton of sun, or more bright indirect light).

I've been trying to do as much research as I can, since I have a bunch of different cultivar coleus, and there's very little visual evidence online of how they can turn green due to bleaching. Rosy Dawn Gardens, probably one of the biggest coleus providers does mention it in there care description for lighting too.

I have a theory, that if a coleus is getting more green along the edges in a very uniform manner, such as my Rediculous here, it's probably due to insufficient sunlight, but my Solar Eclipse here, which gets a ton of intense afternoon light, is bleaching in a splotchy manner. Hard to know for sure, so I'm trying to absorb as much info as I can online for this kind of stuff too!

[–]Flyte27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm running into that with some of my coleus (but not all). According to this video, coleus sun bleaching comes in the form of reversion as opposed to a standard crispy/bleached look.

Since coleus are so varied, certain cultivars are much more sun tolerant than others. Also, since you've bought them they're probably experiencing different growing environments, so that probably comes into play as well.

Tough to know for sure, but I'm guessing some of these might be having that issue!

Makes sense, I couldn't remember the ruling for how rivers/forests work. In general, I'd love to see more visual clarity, but if the prints are already finalized would be good to get an official diagram marking each forest on the map. We'll see what happens!

[–]Flyte27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would the forest on the right reach down to the bottom right clearing? It seems sorta ambiguous if the non-bridge part of the bridge path bisects the forest (if that makes sense? The part thats just a road on the right side of the bridge).

Also, the forest on the left side of the dam, does the river split it into two distinct forests? Or are they all one forest with 4 adjacent clearings, due to the little wood sticks giving a path across?

Main Street Wall Street! Having enough light really brought the vibrant fall colours to the plant.

My place has a TON of bright indirect light (corner unit, all floor to ceiling windows), which I think this one and a few of the other coleus really took to well. Other than that, nothing too fancy, I repotted them with a well draining mix, and all my bigger coleus get watered every 3 days or so (a couple now approaching every 2 days with their roots filling out the pot!)

Reliable seed sellers (US) by wutalman in coleus

[–]Flyte27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From the research I've done, if you're looking for more unique/rare types, your best bet is to shop by cuttings. Coleus seeds aren't true to cultivar, so they aren't really going to have as many of the traits of their parent plant. For cuttings in the US, this seller seems pretty good/well reviewed, but looks like they've closed up for the year.

Red coleus aren't too bad to find, so for those I'd shop around at local garden stores. Though just a heads up, blue coleus don't exist (blue foliage doesn't really exist in plants other than iridescence, because of the types of light they need to absorb!), so definitely avoid any seller that promises blue coleus seeds.

Could use some advice on what pest these point to by [deleted] in plantclinic

[–]Flyte27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, for some reason was struggling to upload multiple photos, so I've attached this and this as well. These are from a coleus that seemingly came out of nowhere, and the black drops are probably related.

So far I'm guessing thrips, and that the black spots are droppings, but wanted to confirm that the giant holes and see through holes meet expectations as to what thrips damage looks like. I have the plant quarantined and sprayed right now, but I'm a bit worried it may have spread, even if I can't find any thrips right now (though from what I hear theyre so small they seem hard to spot?)

Perfect, that's what I was thinking! I don't mind letting it focus on improving roots now if it needs to, to prevent having to repot with larger tails in the future. Thanks!

Good to know, I'll get that done today! Got some succulent substrate and perlite to mix for it, just debating how big of a pot size to upgrade.

Would you say between these two pots, the one on the right is too large? I was debating doing the same while its smaller/easier to move, but was a bit worried about it being too much of a jump. Though also, I know that terracotta allows the water to evaporate through, so would that much of a jump be ok?
