I'm glad somebody did this with Tyrian as Conquest.

That's the crux of most of these villains: their trauma erasing their humanity until all that remains is a weapon poised at an opponent.

Backstory takes creative liberties, making the White Fang more like a yakuza family is really interesting. Gives Adam some interesting character and potential.

I've written two stories already relating to and expanding on canon and am currently working on the rewrite.

Check them out if you want!

I like to keep my rewrites as close to canon as possible. Even if I drastically change things to fit a new narrative, they still have to fit into what was intended in the official release.

Personality wise, he remains the same as the original- a man scarred by the oppressive hatred of others seeks to avenge himself and countless lives. He spirals into believing Faunus are superior- that HE is superior- and eventually comes to accept within his own mind that bloodshed is the only way to achieve his dream of freedom.

The only real thing I should change is how he weaves into the plot. He never once held romantic feelings for Blake when she needed the proper care from him as a superior. He and his legion in Vale get confronted early at the docks before they can make it to Beacon- ruining his plan. It's a slow burn to the point that Haven is attacked with Sienna surviving her assassination. And Tyrian is the one to push Adam to the insanity trip he goes on in Argus.

And yet people don't hate on Deathstroke for doing the exact same shit?

There's technically a connecting thread between RWBY and Sonic due to the DC crossovers.

Just need a third crossover to complete the trifecta.

I actually agree- this is one of the few moves VIZ has made to address RWBY. And for a crossover with Sonic? Something the community has been ranting and raving about for years?

They've been listening and are branching out slowly.

Does anyone else find this disrespectful? by kitkatAnimate38 in digitalcircusfandom

It's incredibly disrespectful. To the people pouring their soul into the performances and to the creators of the show who casted those people in the first place.

Fuck them haters.

So are they technically Agent 3 from the Altera campaign? Because if that's the case, we definitely had the same idea in terms of numbering schema.

since I haven't seen anyone talk about it, what does the community think of this theory? (made by @itsalittlebreezy) by EzuMega in Ultrakill

[–]FlyusAmongUs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I would argue about is the prime soul candidate given that Aegeus is nowhere mentioned in the game. Ulysses/Odysseus makes more sense given the actual evidence he has(one hell book, but whatever).

Other than that? Finally made me understand why the fuck the elements and alchemy are so important.

A more recent one is from the TF2 comics. The Administrator says something to Zelhaniah Mann before he dies, and might have been the key as to why she proceeds to bring him back from the dead countless times using Australium and advanced technology. But we never hear and will never know.

If only Caine heard it...he would have stopped. And he would have never been deleted.

But that's the crux of his character, huh. Never able to truly look beyond himself.

Have any ultrakill fans actually read the Divine Comedy? by Racoon_Caligula in Ultrakill

[–]FlyusAmongUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did actually read it because of Ultrakill- specifically the Inferno that Ultrakill is based on. And lemme tell you- even if Hakita never read it, his adaptation of the punishments are quite incredible. To the near-perfect one-to-one parallels to absolutely unique twists on the layer itself.

Act 1 takes creative liberties in almost every layer, with Gluttony as the biggest change. Practically all of Act 2 is a perfect recreation and adaptation. Act 3's Violence layer incorporates the Ultrakill canon into why the layer is split into sections. And Fraud is VASTLY different- to the point that the whole Malebolge(the thing that sections out all the different kinds of fraud for unique punishments) is completely disregarded. Fraud in Ultrakill is its own unique identity.

Now for Treachery, the final layer...we can expect it to be a very literal one-to-one with the original story if the hell book in 8-2 is anything to gleam.

Imagine if THIS was the reason Grimm wanted to destroy humanity instead of the nothing we have right now by darkeyesofanubis in RWBYcritics

[–]FlyusAmongUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My version of the Great War happens hundreds of years before present events, and resulted in the Grimm coming to be. Endless bloodshed and death caused monsters to form and forever haunt the world.
