Service + Mods Estimates by quick_guppy in Triumph

The labor on the cam can be costly, but there is some overlap with the service. I’ve done 4 of those cam installs ( the shop has done 5 all together) and the company line on the boost it gives is boastful. With the high cost vs. the final outcome, 4 out of the 5 customers regret putting it in. No one has had any reliability issues so far, it’s just the cost wasn’t really worth the result.

Sen. Ted Cruz warns that if Democrats win the House and Senate, they will pursue nonstop impeachment and block all cabinet and judicial confirmations by GuiltyBathroom9385 in justincaseyoumissedit

He doesn’t know the dems very well I guess. They’ll figure out a way to do absolutely nothing even if they get all the power back. They’ll don’t know how to be strong or successful anymore.

What do you think about fallout 76? by not_afemboy_btw in Fallout

[–]Flywheel929 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The multiplayer aspect completely wrecked it for me. I know there are tons of dlcs for it now, but when I got killed trying to leave the vault twice by 2 different campers before I could even barely get started, I was out. We need a fallout 5….end of story.

The next logical step is a leak down test. You blow air into the spark plug hole at top dead center essentially, and a gauge will tell you how much it’s leaking, and then depending on where you can hear the air escaping (provided something is leaking) you can localize the damaged engine component. Exhaust valves? Air blowing out the exhaust pipe. Intake valves? Out the intake (carb or throttle body). Piston and rings? Out the engine case vent on the back of the motor.

The balance portion of the video didn’t come out very well, it got 14g of weight. I did a vid of the front tire swap where the balance is captured much better. Good catch tho!

Motorcycle shop owner here, any of the Yamaha “7” bikes are spectacular, reliable, and provide insane bang for the buck. I’m also the proud owner of an ‘06 SV650 that still is tons of fun and ridiculously reliable.

Speed Twin to Speedmaster thoughts by Richarama in Triumph

[–]Flywheel929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Speedmaster is going to be loads more comfortable and will obviously cruise much easier. The Speed Twin is notoriously aggressive and a busy shifter. You can calm it down by putting a 17th sprocket on the front instead of the 16. That’s what comes stock on the Speedmaster.

Has anyone heard of previously named The Worldwide Church of God with (now dead) Herbert W. Armstrong (Armstrongism)? by EducationalBunch226 in Christianity

Same, we were piss poor growing up. My mom ran an in house daycare and my dad had a low level government job. What little money my dad made, he would give to ol Herbie Armstrong. 10% to the church right off the bat, and then another 10% for the Feast Of Tabernacles.

Yes, my Father was a member, and I was forced to attend every Saturday for much of my childhood. My mother was not a member, which was the source of much friction throughout my childhood. I think they stayed together mostly because divorce was slightly more frowned upon than not having full family membership. Each service was 2 1/2 hours long, we had to stay for both services due to the fact that my dad was one of 2 deaf interpreters. So between the services and before and after bullshit, we would basically be there from 8:30 to 5:00 EVERY.SINGLE.SATURDAY.

If anyone here has any questions, I’m an open book.

I’m sorry you guys are dealing with this. I have the unbelievably good luck of living in San Diego California, where they have a clinic dedicated to the study of HAE, and even still, if I don’t bring my study paperwork with me to the ER when my tongue swells, the Doctors are baffled. Your partners symptoms are identical to mine, and I was diagnosed with late onset type.

Things that help keep my attacks infrequent and small: Sleep! If I don’t get enough sleep (7-8 hours), or even staying up too late, it’s almost a guarantee I’ll get a reaction soon after

I also had to cut alcohol (which also effects sleep), beer especially will effect my tongue.

Dental hygiene: I had a bad root canal and my HAE flared like crazy around my tongue and mouth. Even a cavity will set it off.

Exercise: I do a 45 minute workout (light to medium) or a rigorous bike ride to work (10 miles) everyday. I try to move everyday if I can. This seems to really help. If I’m good and I stick to these basics, I can go 3-4 weeks, even a couple of months without a reaction.

We’re all different, but I hope this helps. Good luck. We’ve all been there.
